Avid Hotels Oklahoma City Quail Springs an IHG Hotel

Perfectly sufficient for two adults and two teens for two nights. Two queen beds, a big bathroom (no tub, but we just needed the big shower), coffee/tea/hot cocoa available 24/7, and a full breakfast with offerings (hot and cold) to satisfy everyone in our party. Strongly recommend! We will stay at Avid hotels again.

Landed here sort of by accident. Very sudden trip for family reasons, and we sort of took what was still available in the general part of town we wanted. This hotel is what I would call a 2.25 star hotel. Meaning, all the standard amenities for a 2.5 star class hotel, but the furniture is laminate and mostly nailed to the wall. Surprised how much we liked this one and would book again. They have a sign on the wall saying it was built in 2018, and was the first Avid Hotel in the world. But the wear level and cleanliness seemed more like a 6-month old hotel than a 6-year old hotel. (More about that later), Pool a bit better than I would expect for a hotel of this size, but I suppose it helped there were not many other people init with us. Bedding was good (really, and better than usual for a hotel of this class nd age). A great feature was 24-hour plumbed in tea and coffee service in the lobby. (I really don't remember much about the comp breakfast, but it was served). Hotel is located just north of Quail Springs Mall, which like many malls is not what it used to be. There are a large number of hotels in the immediate vicinity, mostly dating back to the glory days of the mall. Some to many of them are not what they used to be either. This hotel, while admittedly basic, was a pleasant exception to some tired, worn alternatives we had booked before. Good value for the money and you could spend a lot more for worse nearby. Play it safe and book this one, and don't miss lots of caffeine at no extra charge.

Very clean basic hotel, friendly staff. The layout of the room is excellent and modern but a bit noisy both in the standpoint of not much sound proofing and the A/C unit. Wifi is reliable and quick. It is good value for just a place to to sleep but not much more.

Enjoyed our stay. Easy to get to and there was plenty of parking. Lobby was nice, clean and simple. Check in was easy. Room is large, bed is comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Check was easy that you can do over the TV. They offer a continental breakfast that we did not use, but there were plenty of healthy options. Definitely a great place to stay with a great price.
