Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Norman near University

1. Bed quilt was lumpy; only one set of towels (worn) in king room 2. Safety issue - deadbolt does not lock 3. AC Heat unit - filter is dirty and outer cover dirty; unit cover fell off 4. Windows base and frames held dirt and mold, with window splattered with a clump of drywall putty 5. Exit door fob did not work for re-entry. We were told the door only allows people out not in (fob slot for key entry was red so power was accepting) 6. Pool was not operational and looks like had not for months 7. Hallway smells - unsure if flooded and just not cleaned. 8. TV in breakfast room not working; cereal machine mostly empty; bread was stale; yogurt fridge empty, no porridge or mix for pancake machine. Breakfast room not appealing in anyway 9. Pool out if order and looks like has been for some time. 10. Front desk clerk had feet up and was reading a book at 7:45 am. She did not appear interested in our concerns raised. She just shook her head as if to disagree or just didn’t care.

This hotel was close to where we needed to go for the weekend. Looks nice from the outside and the lobby. Front desk clerk was great. He was quite helpful and friendly. Rooms were large. The first room we got smelled of cigarette smoke. We were able to get a different room. It was pretty dirty. The vents haven't been cleaned since who knows when. The shower had hair in it, the bath mat was disgusting, almost like they used it to clean a dirty floor and then put it in our room for our use. Furniture was old, ratty and dirty. One TV did not work, the tables the TV and microwave were on had drill holes in them. We will find a different place to stay next trip to Norman.

Pool and hot tub out of order no one said a word about that when I reserved the room. Breakfast wasn't up par. Cereal only two choices and looked like only enough for one bowl in each container. Friend bought a bean and cheese burrito two bites and got sick. Was sick all night. The lady at the desk said she was going to remove them, but never did.

This place did not deserve even 1 star. We asked for a room on ground floor and dufus clerk last night Sept 3 put us on 3rd floor way down hall from Elevator 2 senior citizens 75 & 73, we had nothing but scalding hot water,even toilet was steaming ,my wife scalded her feet trying to get a bath. We had driven a long way so we put up with it that night but complained next morning & was told they knew about it.WOW. on top of that we were over charged $50.

We had high expectations as the last time we stayed at a Country Inn was positive. Our room looked like it was in the middle of renovations. It was missing a door handle on the closet and a pull on the entertainment stand. There were holes in the entertainment stand as well. The ceiling had a large area that was peeling and the paint was not finished around the light switches. On top of that, we tried to go swimming and the pool was murky and green. We will more than likely not be going back.
