Hampton Inn Columbus Delaware I 71 North

Hotel offered digital check-in and a digital key so no need to even stop by the front desk, which was very convenient. Room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom clean. Breakfast had a number of hot and cold items. Plenty of parking. There are some restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Checkin was quick and easy, the room was comfy & clean, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was above & beyond, pumpkin waffles were so yummy. Many options to choose from and the staff was attentive.

Great location right outside of Columbus and off the I-71 highway. The clerk at the front desk gave us an AARP discount despite forgetting our card at home. They have a nice breakfast selection and a variety of 24/7 convenience items for sale. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the A/C & heat worked fine. Keep in mind that due to the location there are not many selections for getting food delivered to you. Doordash will have to be utilized.

Hotel overall needed cleaning and maintenance. No mattress cover on bed, however, clerk did move us to another room. Outside lights flickered all night even through closed blinds. This was not the standard Hampton Inn experience.

We booked a dbl/dbl room w/email confirmation. They did not have one available for us, only 1 King bed. It was horrible service, they provided no resolution. I even asked them to call other hotels and find one for us. They told me to do it and asked if I just wanted to cancel the room. Seriously? I called Hilton myself, and they were great! All the sudden the property had a dbl/dbl room available! Too much unnecessary stress. I would not go back to this place!
