Great stay and friendly staff. Rooms were nice and clean, and the free breakfast was really good. Location right off the highway was convenient and more affordable to stay here than some of the other hotels. Easy access to downtown and airport.

Close this place! Awful stay, dirty room, dirty condoms on floor. Bedbugs, everything was broke. Complained to management and they wouldnât even come out of the office to address my concerns. Most ghetto place I have ever stayed. Level this place, the owner needs to step in. I donât write reviews but this place is so bad I had to let people know, do not bookâŠunless you are a hooker! Then this place is perfect!

If there was an option for no stars, that is what this poor excuse for a hotel would get. We always stay the night somewhere halfway through our cross-country drive and already had a reservation for this hotel. In Iowa it started to snow and that continued throughout our drive. In Illinois it worsened to blackout conditions on the interstate and we were forced to drive at 45-50 mph. The snowstorm continued into Indiana and Ohio. Everyone else was driving slow as well because of the reduced visibility. Stopping to call the hotel to let them know we were running late was the furthest thing from our minds. We were focused on the road and keeping our family, especially our younger children, safe. We finally arrived at this hotel in the middle of the night and it is still snowing. My husband stood at the counter saying hello several times before someone finally heard him. The desk clerk had obviously been woken up by my husband as she seemed disoriented and drool was coming out of the side of her mouth. She was extremely unprofessional from the start. She stated that we could not stay because we didnât show up before midnight. She had no compassion for what we had been through, let alone tried to be helpful in any way. But she did say that we would not be charged since we didnât stay. THAT WAS A LIE, AS SHE CHARGD OUR CARD RIGHT AFTER WE LEFT. She turned our family away in the middle of the night in a snowstorm. We literally drove around in the middle of the night, in a snowstorm, and finally found a hotel that finally took pity on us and let us stay. SHOUT OUT TO THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS COLUMBUS SOUTH - OBETZ! You were a lifesaver!! Your hotel was clean and most importantly your staff was accommodating and very nice. All our family wanted was a warm bed to sleep in for a few hours. Speaking to this hotel the next day was absolutely pointless. They refused to give us a refund. They could have cared less. We called Hilton corporate and took it above their heads. They thought our situation was severe enough to warrant transferring us to the escalation department. They even could not believe we were treating us this way. When they called this hotel location they told corporate that they were still not giving us a refund. Long story short, Hilton corporate is sending a refund check and sending this location a bill. You enjoy that. Thank you for ruining the first night of our trip, for putting us out on the street and being so inconsiderate to our family. Thank you again to the other hotel who took us in (Holiday Inn Express South and to Hilton corporate, for caring and for remedying the situation. As for this hotel, we will be sure to never stay there and also warn others as well. From the look of other reviews it looks like we dodged a bullet by not staying here

This hotel is HORRIBLE. For starters, they secretly charged us $150 for âincidentalsâ, which not only did they not tell us about at or prior to check-in, but it also didnât appear on our bill for the stay only on our credit card statement. Additionally, the room they gave us was filthy and used- there was hair and hair bands everywhere, rust (or blood) covering the tub floor, there was no soap- it looked like it had not been cleaned and reset since the previous guest. As we were headed to the front desk to complain, another couple who had arrived at the same time as us was also headed to the front desk- turns out the first room they had been given was already occupied, and the second was similarly filthy! Lastly, the hotel is in a very unsafe location and we were threatened by someone in a passing car on our way out. Truly the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

As a Hilton Honors Member I cannot believe this hotel is a Hilton property. The surrounding area is not safe. The entire property is filthy and smells. My first room was not cleaned from the previous person. My second room was serviced. However, the carpet was so stained and dirty I refused to take my shoes off in the room. The room smelled. The shower was rusted, leaking, and had not been cleaned. The walls were damaged and dirty. It reminded me of a rent by the week Motel in a terrible neighborhood. We all were wearing shoes while in the bathroom and taking a shower. I will be exploring other hotel group.
