Highlands Inn Lodge

Awesome experience thanks to Josh at the front desk, who went above and beyond to put a smile on our daughters’ faces. He found out they missed their Easter egg hunt, so he gave them each a basket and told them where to find the rest of the eggs around the property when we checked in (including the big one). He also rallied on such short notice to get the camping tent set up in the room, which was such an awesome surprise. His colleague at the front desk was also so incredibly hospitable during our stay. Morning coffee with fresh baked banana bread from the restaurant was an absolute treat.

Lady at desk very friendly and helpful. Nice clean room. Comfy bed. Enjoyed the fireplace with my adult beverage in open area of lobby. Did not use the fire-pits out back-always next time. Was offered banana bread in morning with fruit for breakfast, yummy. Enough to hold me till lunch.

From start to finish it was great. The hotel is very clean, inviting, and is definitely as pictured. We stayed in the King Balcony room and it is just the right size for two people. The balcony was the favorite part of the room. The only issue we had with the room was how low the bed is to the floor but it was still surprisingly comfortable. The pillows are a little too fluffy for sleeping, in our opinion but offer great back support while sitting up in bed enjoying a movie. The common area is fun, comfortable, and stocked with plenty of books and games to enjoy. My wife thoroughly enjoyed kicking my butt at monopoly in that area. If you prefer to be outdoors, there are a few nicely done areas that you can enjoy. As for the staff….. Everyone we encountered there was awesome! I’m sad to say I don’t remember all their names but shout out to Mr. Bull, he is the best! My wife absolutely loves him. She said he is very kind, helpful, and personable, I agree with that statement 100%! Overall, we enjoyed our stay, we highly recommend this place, and plan to come back in the fall. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

From the free use of a small cooler and robes in the room to the gorgeous outside seating area, the Trailborn Highlands offers so much! We were in a garden room, which has access both to the hallway inside and the outside, to the small patio and parking area. The hotel is also convenient to town and to several hiking trails we discovered. We will definitely stay here again!

We Enjoyed another amazing visit to Trailborn Highlands. We started our weekend with an amazing meal at the Highlands Supper Club where Chef Aaron prepared us specialty dishes featured that night. They were delicious and well portioned. The service and ambience were great as well. We spent the following day seeing the waterfalls in the area and after dinner returned to the Nordic Spa experience. It was exhilarating… an excellent way to end the evening! Highly recommend everyone coming for a visit to Trailborn Highlands to book the Nordic Spa experience after an amazing dinner at the Supper Club! You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks again Team Trailborn for an awesome weekend experience!
