Wingate by Wyndham High Point

When booking the rooms the attendant was very helpful over the phone. She booked everything we needed for our trip with a group of students. The rooms were fine for what we needed. They were larger than the typical room which was nice. I wish the double queens allowed pull out sofas.

The is a nice place close to High point university and several restaurants. We stayed three nights clean, nice staff, breakfast. Will will be back again to stay. Pool , gym. We stayed on the first floor. We noticed some negative reviews. We found the place was good for my family. Older building but not bad. Thank you.

Comfortable stay clean facility with a limited breakfast but enough to start your day. Easy check in one out. Good location and easy access. Staff very helpful and professional. Beds were comfortable We will return in our next trip to High Point.

Wyndham Should Do BETTER! While I'm sure the cleaning staff do the best they can, the room I stayed in was stinky (so much I had to Lysol spray everything) and musty, like the carpet needed a deep clean. I felt very uncomfortable in the bedding, I could not walk around barefoot and I was sneezing a lot from all the dustiness of the upholstery. The tub floor creaked a lot when standing under the shower. The hotel just needs a Super Deep, deep clean. And sadly, based on how uncomfortable I felt with the cleanliness of the room, I didn't trust that the breakfast was going to be any good, so I can't comment on it. Also, for $262/night, it was a terrible value for the price. Sadly, all the comments I've heard from my fellow High Point Market attendees have been to advise not staying in a hotel in High Point because they are so run down. I'm very sorry I didn't listen to their advice and book in another town or do a vrbo... Lesson learned. Hopefully the hotels in the area will make investments to improve, at the very least, which is to simply deep clean or change the carpets and freshen up all the dingy furnishings & decor.

It was too noisy. The bed was comfortable. It was a good location. It was close to wear we wanted to go. It looked like the window was broken. We were on the first floor. The rooms Werner to be clean. The staff was nice. I wouldn’t stay for more than 2 days.
