DoubleTree Raleigh Durham Airport at Research Triangle Park

This is my first review for Tripadvisor and sad to say that is was due to this negative experience. Most of what I can say here is that I am highly disappointed with Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Raleigh-durham Airport. I expected better after years of seeing Double Tree in the most classiest of locations. This location has not aged well and worst of all my room's air conditioning was simply awful. The air conditioner's air filter smelled bad and the air conditioner did not dehumidify the room at all so I spent 4 damp nights with my family there for business. It was baffling to me how this place had a busy convention and event scene. People walked around as though the wear and tear of the hotel did not exist. The upkeep of the grounds was nice however. Front desk seemed nice but forgot to mention the cookies which I found out later were a big thing for Double Tree and my key card did not work even after I confirmed late checkout the night before. All in all a bad experience. I won't ever return to this location and likely never set foot in Double Tree again. I should have listened to the bad reviews that mentioned the terrible room air conditioning.

I had an extremely poor experience staying at this hotel. It was our first time staying at this hotel and I don’t think we ever come back. We had to wait 2.5 hours after check in time to get our room and then on the second to last day of our stay they never cleaned our room. We got back to our room to have no clean towels or bath tissue. Had to go to the front desk to ask for them. Upon checkout we were told that we opted for points when I specifically said we wanted the $15 credit when I checked in. Assistant manager was uncaring and almost rude. She didn’t care at all that a gold customer was not satisfied with the service or lack of service. Will think twice before booking the next trip.

We checked in and Tabitha at the front desk was so incredibly accommodating and sweet. We had been having a rough evening and as we checked in she truly made our night. Thank you Tabitha for being so accommodating! Clean hotel, very comfortable.

Kris the bartender is the reason I keep going back to this hotel. The level of service really sets your travel experience apart from other hotels or Hilton properties, and it’s really made a different for us individually in our stays. I would highly recommend this location for that reason.

This is our absolute go to hotel when we are in Raleigh! Everyone is always so nice and helpful. The rooms are squeaky clean and well appointed. We have been coming to this specific hotel for over 15 years and it will continue to be our favorite going forward. We are in Raleigh multiple times a year and always book here. Breakfast is excellent and we love to sit at the bar and enjoy a steak sandwich and an adult beverage at the end of the day. Well done y’all, this is exactly what we have come to expect from a Hilton hotel product.
