Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel an IHG Hotel

This is a very nice hotel. Comfortable, nice dacore and good staff. We've stayed there a few times now, it's been consistent. Convenient location but their parking lot is a little bit of a hike away so you need to take anything out of your car that you're going to need.

This hotel is top notch. Love the location and amenities. Super clean, safe, one of the most accommodating and courteous staff I’ve ever seen. Shower gets super hot and good pressure. The Ac unit is amazing, bed comfortable, nice views. I would stay here again and again, probably wouldn’t even look into another hotel. Many of my coworkers say the same, after the Kimpton, you won’t want to stay anywhere else. Austin and Nolan checked on me each day of my stay via text. This is an A1 hotel, give them all the awards!!

We recently stayed in the Tryon Park Hotel and were delighted at the beauty and excellent quality found at our favorite hotel chain-The Kimpton. The lobby is beautiful and we checked in as Social Hour began, starting our stay off well! Our room was on the 16th floor with an amazing view of downtown Charlotte. The linens, robes, and towels were top quality and the room was spotless. The roof top bar Merchant and Trade was lively and fun and breakfast the next morning at Angeline's was delicious. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and the valet provided excellent service. A 5 Star stay! Bev Milam and Louis Cusimano

Wonderful hotel in a central location. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The social hour was a nice experience. I mentioned it was my birthday as we checked in and were surprised with a lovely bottle of Prosecco in our room. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel the next time you are in Charlotte.

Cleanliness was about a 4 out of 5, which is good for Kimpton brand (I usually find them to be dirty) but a 5 is the desired mark. Cleanliness in highly public spaces such as hotel rooms - with showers, bathrooms and bedding - is the most crucial element. We come in contact with many potential biohazards when a room is not cleaned properly - and this one was less than perfect. Not the dirtiest room ever but there were random hairs and dirty spots. For the price point, not fantastic. The room was in decent repair. Broken items here and there but mostly fine. Service was fine. Everyone was nice and welcoming. All in all - the hotel is pretty much fine. It is par for the course of Kimpton hotels. Lots of style, great service but the rooms have hair and dirty spots in the corners.
