Do not stay at here. Our vehicle was broken into along with 10+ others. According to police this is a normal occurrence. We were also told this hotel is in the hood and not the safe place to stay. We’re out $500 for a new window and the hotel could care less. From what we’ve learned these break ins have been occurring for years.

Let me start by saying we have stayed in MANY Marriot and Choice Privileges hotels. My husband travels for work, so we have a lot of experience with hotels, travels, and spend a lot of time and money in hotels. This hotel was a hotel we booked JUST to sleep in to fly out bright and early in the morning. Between 10 pm and 6 am our vehicle was 1 of 16 (I'm going to be specific here and go off the police report and not what was told to use by the front desk) vehicle broken into. Our window was busted out along with 16, or maybe 18, other vehicles, and every nook and cranny of the vehicle was rummaged through. Let that sink in. 16. At 2:30 am police came to the property and wrote a police report on 16 victims. NONE of us were notified. Fast forward to 4 hours later, we wake up to head to the airport and see our window, along with many many other vehicles with their windows busted out. We got ZERO notice from the hotel and all we were told in that moment was they knew, it was 18 vehicles, and they had a card with the case number on it. Fast forward to 2 days later. The hotel manager, at our request, calls us. Calls my husband a liar when he tells the manager that we were provided the police report and know that there were 16 cars and what all was stolen. My husband then calls me so I can provide details directly from thw report in which case the response from the manager was that we never should have received that information.....Well, buddy, we were. And as you can see, we are NOT liars. I now want to know WHY we were not notified before waking up to this disaster, HOW someone had enough time and was not noticed on the camera or HEARD, to break into SIXTEEN vehicles at night when we personally were parked right under a camera and even the vehicles in the front of the hotel were broken into. The manager had ZERO sympathies, said it could have happened anywhere, "a mall, a store, at the airport." and that he didn't have to answer any of our questions and his people didn't have access to the cameras at night. SO, beware. The night people aren't aware of what's going on at their hotel. They're so occupied and SO SO BUSY at night that the front desk person NOR the shuttle person is aware when there are people in their lots breaking into vehicles without any rush. Also, understand that when this happens to you, it could happen anywhere, and the hotel manager is NOT going to care. He is NOT going to refund you points, or money, for your stay, and he is NOT going to give you any sympathy for the situation that happens at his MARRIOTT hotel. Someone should transfer him to the Super 8 down the road, because that's the type of attitude he has when dealing with the very people who help provide him a salary. The police should investigate him, along with his employees. Because if you ask me, someone turned a blind eye OR Marriott needs to fire them because they were oblivious to what was happening ALL OVER THEIR PARKING LOT. We won't let this go. Just so you know. And I will tell everyone, everywhere, on every single platform that I can. Oh, let me complete the review by saying the hotel is nice, clean, but don't plan on staying long, if you were smart, don't stay at all, but if you don't take my word for it, if you stay longer than 1 night, there is no dresser nor closet to hang your clothes....so live out of your suitcase, and leave your doors unlocked and windows rolled down so the damage to your vehicle can be avoided.

Best courtyard experience by far! TJ the bartender and G are both awesome! 5 star service, delicious food and great drinks! Not much, if anything, in walking distance so it’s good to have a”nice dinner options and good cocktails right at the hotel.

Run from this place. The staff laughed at me, cut me off and refused to do anything when I asked for help. He said he wasn't an air technician and just kept laughing any time I said anything. He then continued that demeanor in the lobby for ten minutes after I went down to try to speak to someone else. The entire time I tried to speak to the one barely helpful person, he continued to try to speak over me, kept laughing and said he wasn't going to call the cops on me for being rude. The one barely helpful person said "oh, thats just him, that's how he is..." Their shuttle also can't seem to find the airport. I've never experienced a place so completely awful at customer service but GROSS.

I was a little concerned after reading some bad reviews, but my husband and I had a great experience at this hotel. We stayed 1 night between flights. Perfect location, 10 minute shuttle ride to and from airport. Yes, they are renovating hotel, signs posted everywhere and I knew about this when booking because of other reviews. Yes, there is construction next door, didn't effect our stay. Staff we encountered were all very friendly, both shuttle drivers, front desk checking in and out, and bartender at the bistro. The bistro was very adequate for us, we had chicken sandwiches with fries and a few beers. We weren't expecting a full restaurant and we were very satisfied with our meal and service. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when passing through CLT.
