Comfort Inn Charlotte Airport Uptown

One of the dirtiest ones I have been in. Roaches, toilet seat broke,no shower pressure 20 minutes to shower. The sheets were dirty, ice machine and vending machines empty and damaged. Just a really bad experience. Will not stay at this one again. DO BETTER

The hotel itself didn’t feel like it was in a very safe area. The staff was OK. The room was OK. The problem was when I returned home from my flight. It was a park and ride hotel so you paid extra to leave your car there When you fly out of Charlotte airport. I called the day before to let them know when my plane was coming in because that was their requirement. I also let them know at the desk before I left because I was going to be out of the country and I wasn’t sure I was going be able to call. When I landed at the airport, I called and called and called. I even called my daughter and had her call. You could not get through on the telephone so I ended up having to take a cab back to the hotel, which sort of defeated the purpose of doing what I did. I would not recommend this hotel. I will not be back.

Got stuck on a delayed flight and American Airlines sent us here. It was by far the most DISGUSTING hotel I have ever been to. I felt unsafe and had to double lock and place a chair in front of the door. Bathroom was not clean- towels had hair on them from someone shaving (little man hairs). Toilet was not wiped down...smelled like cigarettes and Marijana. We would have walked back out the door but only had about 4 hours until we needed to be back at the airport so we took a brief nap and got the heck out of this dump. BEWARE- if American Airlines tries to send you here- you are better off paying for your own hotel or just staying at the airport.

If you have the option to stay anywhere else, please do. For starters, I paid close to $200 for two nights plus a $100 security deposit all for a room with absolutely no hot water coming out of the shower or sink faucet. Tried showering that night when I got there and that morning and still ice cold. Even if there was hot water, there was no water pressure. I could have poured the water out of a cup and had more pressure. There was live roaches crawling around in the early morning when I got up to use the restroom. And as if my night wasn't already horrible, my vehicle along with four others that I'm aware of, had the rear back window busted out from someone attempting to steal whatever was inside. Luckily I took all my stuff inside for the night but that doesn't make it any better and the management was absolutely no help. Apparently it happens so often that they posted signs for that exact reason so they wouldn't be held "responsible". Filed a police report but I know nothing will come of it. According to previous news articles this is a common occurrence in Charlotte, NC. So please, stay literally anywhere else. Even a different city because the people in Charlotte and the comfort inn absolutely do not care.
