Check in was a breeze. Lex, front desk clerk was pleasant and very helpful. She gave us an upgrade. Further, she offered two choices of restaurants in Boone. Both were very good. Montana, night clerk, also went out of his way to .respond to every request. Hotel is clean. Room we were assigned was spacious and nicely appointed

Wonderful stay - the hotel is clean and well appointed. The best thing about this property is the people. Everyone at this hotel cares about the customers and goes out of his/her to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located along Blowing Rock Hwy.

This hotel is Very outdated, old and dirty. I thought because it was a Amari off there would be higher standards. Don’t be fooled by the remodeled front and lobby, or the photos! the rooms smell the hallways smell and the whole place needs to be re-done.

All I can say is there is a reason this hotel has "mixed" reviews and low fare. Not the best stay at all. Microwave wasn't cleaned out and there were bugs in our room. Thins walls you can hear people stomping at all hours. Do not recommend.
