Hampton Inn Benson

I assumed this would be a nice Hampton Inn due to the way it looks from the outside and the many great reviews. The location is convenient. The hallways were nice and clean with new carpet. But our bathroom was pretty gross. There was obvious mildew in the corner of the shower and on the floor where it meets the outside of the shower frame. The AC does not work well, and the fan keeps cutting off, even when the "ON" selection is chosen. The breakfast is about the worst I've had at a Hampton recently. No meat selections at all. The attendant did not speak English and could not answer our questions about one of the items. We stay in hotels about 20 nights a year but this one, we will never visit again.

Very clean. Breakfast was a very nice plus with all the fixings . It is easy to get in and out of right off 95. Staff is so helpful and polite. Making reservations off Hampton reservation site was so easy. There are several places to eat right across the road without having to get back on 95.

From the moment we walked in til the moment we left. The place is so welcoming and clean. It looks brand new, probably 2-3 years old We stay at Hamptons all the time and stopped on our way down to Florida last minute not knowing. My husband is allergic to dogs so we were a little nervous when we found it was dog friendly but thankfully they keep the place so clean we did not have any problems. Breakfast was the usual Hampton breakfast and the staff is there to help you at all times. I love those fresh waffles! Love those fresh baked cookies in the evening!

Easy to access off 95, this hotel made for a great night. We stayed on Christmas so there was a minimum staff but everything was perfect so we had no need. We use the Hilton app which made check in a breeze and gave us a digital room key. The lobby of this hotel was nicely decorated for tge holiday and felt very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would recommend.

Never again. I asked 1 for thing, a quite room, they gave me room .. I think #308. OMG, the noise from the highway traffic was like being in a tent camped out beside road, zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom, when it finally slowed down a train whistle took over. How they get good reviews doesn't make sense. The walls have black streaks from luggage, room was dark, the bedspread needs tossed out ( totally frayed). The bed was clean, wish I could have enjoyed it.
