Best place to stay in Asheville! Aside from the convenient location in Downtown and to all there is to do in town, this is a solid hotel option! Welcoming staff, clean and well maintained rooms and such fun decor/artwork. The Birthday treats were unexpected but a happy surprise! I look forward to future stays!

I am a big fan of ALOFT, as they never disappoint. The check in was quick and friendly. Parking is in the underground garage. The room had a view of the street and was as comfortable as ever. The hotel is set in a perfect spot as you can walk everywhere. There are bars, restaurants and shops all nearby. The WXYZ bar had live entertainment and great bartenders. Have a drink, play some pool, go out on the town. If I had to add a negative I would say the gym was lacking. There is plenty of cardio but limited in the weight department. That is a petty complaint. Totally recommend.

The hotel is ideally situated on Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville, offering convenient access to shopping, dining, and other attractions. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff was courteous and accommodating. However, I am deducting two stars due to the overwhelming fragrance in the lobby and common areas. While I understand that this signature scent may appeal to some guests, it can be problematic for those who are sensitive to strong odors. Unfortunately, this made it difficult for me to enjoy the otherwise inviting lounge spaces for work or leisure. Additionally, upon returning home, I noticed that all of my clothesâclean and worn alikeâhad absorbed the scent, requiring immediate laundering. When I inquired about the possibility of reducing the intensity of the fragrance during my stay, I was informed that it is a standard feature across Aloft properties and could not be adjusted. While the hotel has many positives, I would recommend that Aloft consider offering alternatives or adjustments for guests who may find this feature uncomfortable. Regrettably, I will not be choosing Aloft hotels for future stays until this issue is addressed.

Artsy little place, warehouse look sort of, nice little room, convenient to the Orange Peel and lots of shopping and restaurants. I love a room with full length mirror, and dispensers instead of plastic bottles for shampoo etc. Free parking. You do have to pay for breakfast and selection is limited. Construction noise was terrible during the day Friday but I am sure we could have changed rooms if needed. I wonder if Moxy next door is just as nice. Can't beat the convenience.

We are building a house in Asheville so we usually stay here. I believe this was our 4th stay. We have always had a great experience each time until now. The man who checked us in was so off-putting that it kind of turned us off from the time we arrived. We wanted to come support Asheville businesses and everywhere we went people were wonderful, except here. We found it strange because we thought that would be so happy to have people coming during a time when tourists are needed. The room was fine as usual. The location is great. If not for the gentleman checking us in who was borderline rude it would have been fine. It felt like we were not welcome and were a bother even though we were the only ones in the lobby. I even tried to joke around with him. We didn't care about not having housekeeping, the water situation, that food coupons were no longer offered for Titanium members. All that was good and actually expected. We were just so happy to be there. What we didn't count on was the coldness. I understand some are going through a trying time so I will try to chalk it up to that. But every other business we went to was fantastic and excited to have us. We will probably book our next few trips at another local hotel.
