A convenient hotel located in the downtown area. Easy walking distance to plenty of entertainment spots, shopping, restaurants and breweries. The hotel is a block back from Main Street but not very far from everything. The hotel is located on the Cheshire walking trail. There's also a small market next door. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The gym had easy to use equipment w TV on the wall and treadmills. There's a Starbucks where you can get breakfast off the lobby area. A bar and pool table are there too. The pool was not open when I was staying there.

Came to this Courtyard for a quick one night stay while visiting Keene. We picked it for the location and ease to walk downtown, and it delivered. Couldn't ask for an easier place to park and stay if you wanted to browse the main street. The hotel was decently clean and seemed on the newer side of things. Our sleep quality was okay, even for a night with a lot of hockey families in town, it was pretty quite. I would say the challenge for us on the stay was that they seemed a bit overwhelmed by the occupancy that day. We did have to wait till the check in at 4 p.m. which seemed a bit later than "normal" and they had a room full of people waiting so when 4 p.m. hit it was a bit of a cluster checking in and they still didn't have all the rooms ready. That was really the downside for us in the experience. Other than that it was a good stay and I think for the location of the hotel we would stay here again for that reason.

There was a fire on one of the elevator motors Saturday night December 7th . We all had to evacuate at 3:30 AM . I helped several people find the stairs and get out of the building. It was very cold while we waited outside . We saw smoke coming out of the elevator shaft. The next day i wanted to use the indoor pool . The pool heater never worked possibly due to the fire in the elevator. So I never got to use the indoor pool. I had trouble using my key card on the side entrance of the hotel where my car was parked. I could not get in and when I knocked to attract staff attention whom I could see, they ignored me and I was later told they won't answer the door because there is a homeless shelter down the street. I wanted to change my room to a disabled room and the staff was able to accommodate me on that. I asked for compensation and the receptionist said she would ask the manager and email me. I never received a response from management. I would not stay here again.

We stayed for one night and upon check in the front desk staff were very rigid and unfriendly. We arrived about 20 min prior to check in time. It's not a problem if rooms aren't ready but it's also really uncommon. We were told no rooms were clean yet. Though, 10 minutes later everything was clean. It just seems like poor hotel management. We were also signed to an accessible room, which we did not book, and when I inquired about why we were given this room the only explanation was "were fully booked, it's all we have. " I did make our reservation months in advance, this was not a last minute booking nor was it a discounted booking. There were no pillows/ sheets to make up the fold out couch and when we went to get those supplies because our son was going to user that bed, they couldn't locate pillows. This hotel is really just not managed well. There's mold in the accessible shower and along the grout. The only reason I'm giving this review a 2 and not a 1 is because the housekeeping staff we ran into in the halfway was so unbelievably nice! I can't believe this is a Marriott location and that we paid full price to stay here. There is no complimentary coffee. I'm happy to pay for a specialty coffee but basic, regular coffee should be complimentary. Very much below basic expectations!
