Stay away from this place. Very Dirty, Hazardous to your health. Bath area dirty, kitchenette area dirty, dirty soiled pots in dish washer and in cabinet, grease on cook top. Crumbs everywhere on all seating furniture. There were 5 light bulbs out in bathroom area. AC unit leaked coolant, had to turn it off, it was making me sick.

The beds were comfortable and that is where the positives ended. The carpet in the room was torn. I understand that we were placed in room 122 which is a dog friendly room and the carpet was torn probably to previous pets. But if you can't maintain the carpet, replace it with tile flooring. The bathtub grout had stains which gave the appearance that it was not clean. Our family of five didn't shower because of this.

The Pros, first. Service from Front Desk Staff and Breakfast Crew was very good. Hotel was quiet, safe and in a good location, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Bed was comfortable. Fitness Center was spacious, with up-to-date equipment. Breakfast, while of the grab-and-go variety, still provided a microwaveable sandwich, for a hot item. The Cons: Any items purchased from the pantry were "cash only". What's that all about, and why? I already had provided my credit card, for incidentals, so why couldn't these items simply be charged to my room/account? This is poor business practice, and I've never experienced this, before, at any hotel. Room was not cleaned properly. Wide areas of dust noticed on a number of surfaces. Some sort of green, dried schmutz noted in the kitchen area, as well as what looked like leakage from coffee or a soft drink, and some leftover grocery store bags, still under the sink. Bottle of glass cleaner was left in the room by housekeeping. A number of items missing - a bulb in one of the lamps, no paper towels, no dishwasher detergent, no wash-rags or kitchen soap. This was a let-down, from other MainStay Suites stays I've had. I realize that the better rooms should be given to those who don't book with points, but there are still some basics, that all guests should receive, which I did not. Even with using points for this stay, I don't think I received the proper value.

Nice overnight place to stay on our way to Bristol, Tennessee. We had late check in and the staff was very nice and helpful! Breakfast was offered complimentary and was grab and go bag due to Covid restrictions. It was Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich and blueberry muffin plus juice. Nice they took extra steps to still offer breakfast in these times! Room was clean and spacious with plenty of towels. Would stay here again!

After driving through storms and high wind all day I decided to get off the road early and since Iāve been having bad luck Roth Comfort Innās lately Iād try mainstay. The pics looked nice, and the prices were pretty good. Well when we got in the room I turned the heater up and it had a strong smell of something burning. Our Tv wouldnāt work so the man at the front desk bought a different remote down, fixed it. My son went to take a shower, door wonāt latch and opens by itself, all the way to the big hole in the wall where the handle was put completely through the drywall and never fixed. Finally I started getting a headache so we walked over to ihop. While sitting in the booth I kept smelling dog, I think it was on me, all I did was lay on the bed a few minutes. When we walked back over and opened our door, wow, what a smell. When we was in the room before we didnāt notice how strong it was. I asked the man at the front desk to stop down, he said it smelled like rotten food someone must of left there, he acted like it happens all the time. When I asked to change rooms I could tell he wasnāt very happy, he said he has 1 left, it was across the hall. We loaded our things up and opened the door, wow, it smelled like someone sprayed a entire can of ferbreez in it. We left the door wide open for over a half hire, didnāt help much. The shower had about the same pressure I have from spring water back on my farm. The shower head is a little high for some people, Iām 6ā2ā and barely could track it. The towels were small and paper thin. The tv was great, besides having a terrible picture, it had no guide, you have to guess what channel your on, it doesnāt even tell you on the channel itself. At least the doors in this room closed good, I forgot to mention in the first room we had to slam the door to get it to latch when you leave. The bed was comfortable, I did sleep good. On my travels Iāve always used Choice Hotels, Iāve always found the clean rooms, friendly people and good prices. Lately Iāve been finding dirty rooms, cockroaches ( though the mgr. said heād deduct 20% off my bill, which he didnāt of coarse) I think maybe itās time to try a different chain for my next stay tonight. Choice hotels are letting hotels from the 70 and 80ās use their brand, pictures on their site are very deceiving lately. Oh yea, the microwave didnāt work and the light stayed on I side.
