The saying goes it is what it is. Don't expect the 4 seasons or kapinski. We were greeted by a very pleasant desk manager who tried his best to get us a room that we liked. I believe his name was Ra.imond. In point of fact when we Arrived we were in quite a bind. We originally made plans to stay at the Best Western next door. It was beyond unacceptable the door did not have a lock and there was a door between 2 rooms that could not be locked. So we went next door to the Quality Inn. Apparently they did not have the greatest write ups But we gave the quality inn a chance. In fact we decided to get a suite at the Quality Inn. Is it more than served our purpose. I gladly would recommend it but you get what you pay for. Hopefully they will upgrade it soon.

This "hotel" is a nightmare. The place is extremely dirty. The smell of old beer and pot is so overwhelming. Our room had dirt on the floor and stains on the walls and curtain. The shower handle was broken, went to use the in room coffee maker and there was dirt and dust inside it. Our room door was out of alignment so you could see light coming through it. The breakfast had hardly anything to eat so we ate elsewhere. Before leaving the room I checked to make sure we had everything and looked under the bed and at the corner I found 2 bags of marijuana. I took pictures of them. I don't like to see any business close but this place should be condemned!!!!

Our disappointment was immediate; the lobby and the hallways and the elevator smelled (the elevator also had a sticky floor). Our room wasn't as odoriferous, but it gave the impression that it had simply been Fabrezed to death. The toilet paper holder was broken (wouldn't hold the roll); the toilet seat was loose and sliding around; the handle in the sink was virtually impossible to engage; the handle was missing on the drawer of the nightstand; the drapes did not close all the way, so that one had to resign oneself to either people outside getting a peepshow or waking up with the sun at 5:30am (or both). My wife opted to rig a clothes hanger to keep them moderately closed. The "hot continental breakfast was quite pathetic: cold cereal, waffles, apples, yogurt with artificial sweetener only, and coffee (no decaf). In other words, a million little things. We came back at the end of the day to find the room unmade (including waste baskets overflowing). And all this for the bargain hotel-located-50-miles-from-that-weekends-NASCAR-race price of $252.49. (Second night was 'only' $104.00; still way over-priced.) Given a choice, I'll opt to sleep in my car next time.

Bar none the dirtiest place I’ve stayed, but then the entire area seemed to match. The lobby and room were old carpet, wall coverings and cabinetry. The worst probably was the elevator. I think parts of the place were closed up, if not they were being partitioned off, and should be. So believe all the 1 star reviews. My wife booked it and I don’t read the reviews until we were there

First when i entered the lobby the girl( Jessica ) was on the phone making reservations. She hung up and answered the phone again and again then again I was standing there for about ten minutes and she never even said I'll be with you soon. It was early 12 noon but there were only 2 cars in the lot. her first words were nastily your real early. I asked if I could try back at two and she said she would try. Now the hotel we paid for river side rooms the place was not at all busy and the room we got was parking lot size. We drove for 4 hours killed another two I did not feel like arguing with her so we settled. The on site restaurant and bar was not open and seemed like it had been closed for a long while. The hotel lobby and hallways smelled the towels in the room were filthy and the pool ( I enjoy a morning dip before we check out did not open till 10 am. The hot breakfast is a joke waffles but they were out of the mix and then only cereal no bread rolls danish. ( STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP !!!!! )
