Hotel Description

First Class Hotel. (exterior) The hotel is centrally located between 6th and 7th avenue on 29th street. Within walking distance from Herald Square, the Empire State Building, Macy's, Chelsea Piers, Jacob Javits Center & Penn Station. The 1 train runs along 7th avenue on 28th street and the N/R Train run along broadway. Both trains will get you to Times Square in 5 mins. (lobby) Guests are greeted by Concierge and Front desk staff once they enter the hotel on the groud floor. The restaurant is located to the left of the Front Desk. (general) The hotel offers complimentary wireless internet in the lobby and restaurant. HSIA is a $9.95 plus tax fee in the guest rooms. Guests has complimentary access to the business and fitness center located on the cellar level of the hotel.

The manager Mark is outstanding and very good at listening to the customer. Everything comes from the top. This location is brilliant. Close to subway and trendy cafes. Close to Central Park and soho. There is a handy gym in the basement. Very convenient.

I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Chelsea, but what truly stood out was Julien’s exceptional service. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a positive attitude. Julien went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed — he truly made my experience more enjoyable and memorable. Thank you, Julien!

It was such a great experience! The room was very comfortable. The staff also was super friendly, especially Alvaro. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! Also the cookies were so good. Coming home to a warm cookie was definitely a highlight.
