Green Haven Resort

Had our family reunion here and it was a fantastic location to gather together. Pool was great and the owners were knowledgeable, kind to the young children and welcoming. The rooms are well appointed and vary in number of rooms to accommodate a family with children or a couple.

We Have been going to lake George sense 1995 for the Americade Rally. We Have stayed from one end to the other, the past few years we have been taking our dog not our bikes. Green Haven has been by far the nicest and the cleanest place we have stayed in all of the years! the New Owners Greg and Barbara do an outstanding job with the units and the property. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms. I originally wanted to book something that was on the lake but after staying here, well, it is now our go to in Lake George. It was calm, quiet and peaceful without being far from Lake George Village or Bolton. The owners have wonderful suggestions if you are looking for things off the beaten path. We went with our son and our dog and it was everything we needed and more! We already booked our next stay!

I don't usually consider resorts when i travel however, my experience at Green Haven Resort, has changed my mind. The check in and check out was great, i decided to stay an extra night and it was granted without a hitch, The place is family owned and I felt welcomed down to the family owned dogs, my room was clean, no "woodsy" smell detected, the "quiet" hours made my sleep great. The bed was comfortable, the TV had a good selection of channels. parking was in front of my unit. Hot water, my unit had a shower stall. The only thing i needed was a vending machine.

This was our first visit to Lake George and I ended up booking Green Haven Resort because they were able to accommodate our dog. All went really well. We were in Cabin 12 which was newly-renovated and very nice! The owners are super nice and hard-working. We didn't get to use the pool, but it was super clean and a nice feature. The location is convenient as it's only a few short minutes from the downtown area and a short drive to Bolton Landing. For those of you with dogs, I also just wanted to mention that we took our dog on the Horicon lake cruise and it was really fun! Highly recommended :)
