Lu Fran Motel

The owner seems to be a very nice guy but my headline says it all. The railings are pulling apart from the concrete and the steps up to the second level we’re sketchy. The room was dirty and there was mold all over the shower curtain. I slept on a couple of beach towels instead of touching the bed itself. Life’s too short to stay at a place like this.

I must say, the LuFran may not look fancy but the customer service of the owner Ralph makes up for it, He is the most honest, kindest person I have met since coming to Wildwood. He will go out of his way to may your stay enjoyable. If you are looking for an inexpensive week or weekend down the shore, you should stop by LuFran on Ocean & Bennett Ave.across from the beach and with a few steps you are there soaking in the sun. My niece had made a reservation with the Wildwood Inn for Memorial Day weekend and just an hour after she made it she realized she could not go because her mom had covid symptoms .she called the Wildwood Inn &they refused to refund all of her money. Even though it was just a few hours after booking and also never stepping foot in the place They saw a young person and fully took advantage. After she called me (because I live in Wildwood) I called Ralph and not only did he get her a room which I signed for but took Off the $100 that the other motel kept from her. He is the best! If you are looking to stay on the beach block This is the only place I would stay. their goal is to make sure you have a good time, swim in the pool and grill some steaks after spending the day on the beach.

Book this on line for a short mini vacation at the beach. Pool was supposed to be heated and not. I wouldn’t use the kitchen, toaster rusty, and no utensils or dishes. Bed was ok but you can hear every noise and need better shades for better privacy in the room. They charged us a certain rate,but did allow us to check in early and stated we could stay late. Check out is 10 but told us we didn’t have to leave till after 12 which was great. So far the bed is good, but needs better pillows

This place is loud, dirty, a complete free for all with no rules. The front office door is open to the street all hours of the night with the owner passed out on the couch at times. Loud music blaring can be heard from blocks away. The other great reviews on this hotel are shocking and must not be reality. I would rather sleep in the street. GROSS!!!! Stop ruining Wildwood and sell this place to someone who cares.

Checked in and when going to room came upon a couple under the stairs to go up the female had several bed bug bites on her arms and face the male in his appeared to be her father but was told were a couple entered my room and was taken back by the smell of mold and mildew. Dirty filthy comforter broken missing window in bathroom. My body started to convolution got in my car and left should be demolished not fit for humans
