This is a great location - just hop on the bus and the next stop is the Port Authority Bus terminal in Midtown - walk to Times Square, Broadway etc. The views are excellent and the rooms generously sized. You can eat at Whole Foods like everyone else in the neighborhood does. It's so much cheaper than staying on the other side and the bus is nicer than the subway.

Old, worn out hotel. Check in personnel were very nonchalant while about a dozen people waited for rooms to be ready. The view across the river is great, the restaurant, Beneciās is pretty good. Good for breakfast too. This hotel is always busy and always seems to be understaffed. If you come here, pack your patience. Youāll need it. I donāt think I would choose this place to stay for a vacation.

Stayed one night before a weekend in the city. Thankfully it was only 1 night we were here. Poor and outdated hotel overall. There is no gift shop with toiletries and the usual gift shop items at any other Marriott. The service was mediocre at best. The front desk staff is just so-so, no excitement. The rooms are outdated. Families work hard and spend their money on these trips. Itās a shame when travelers canāt be provided the simple basics. I would like a call back from management.

The best thing about this hotel is the location with a good view of the Manhattan skyline. It is also more quiet with less traffic and less emergency vehicles and helicopters flying around. The hotel was clean, rooms normal NYC style, elevators worked well, food and breakfast was good enough. We had some issues with the booking and it took me several weeks to get things clarified. So I was not too happy with the service from the hotel and Bonvoy customer care. Connections to New Jersey with rail and Manhattan was excellent with a couple of hundreds of meters of walking.
