The rooms were very clean and comfortable. This was like a 2 bedroom apartment. Stove and refrigerator were provided, along with dishes and utensils. I saved a lot of money on food, by being able to cook in the room. A good breakfast was provided by the hotel daily. It was definitely worth the price. It was in a quiet location.

It was going great until the morning that house keeping kept banging on my door, my you I was there for 4 days prior, with a sign on my door to not disturb. My last day there I just wanted to sleep in and relax. They opened my bedroom window while I was sleeping and said oh you're still here! No apologies. Rude and very weird. Who does that. The bed is literally right next to the window!

I would have given them 3 stars in the beginning, despite the very stained carpet but as our 6-day visit continued, there were more and more issues with this place that I can't really recommend them - except if you want a relatively cheap place but a lot of hassle. First the good: - it was in a decent area, convenient to highway without a lot of road noise - it was a very good price for the summer, considering we had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and common area - if you didn't look too closely, the rooms seemed clean enough - the pool was okay - nothing special but nothing horrible either Now the mediocre to bad: - the breakfast was mediocre at best - mostly standard fair (a type of eggs, sparse fruit, yogurt, dry cereal, hot oatmeal and some kind of muffins/bagels). Pancakes from a machine seemed to be available every other day (not sure why the pancakes couldn't be available every day. The fresh fruit was sparse (way overripe bananas and maybe an apple or two). They had bagels some days and 2 kinds of pre-packaged muffins which were not good. Honestly, I didn't expect much but thought they could have offered a little more variety. - the rug to the common area of our room was stained throughout - looked like it had never been properly cleaned - laundry machines were terrible - had to pay extra to get the washing machines to actually spin dry the clothes; dryer was an issue as well, requiring repeatedly paying to get it to dry 1 load. When we complained to the staff they literally told us that this is a common issue and our best bet was to call the 800 number on the machine (which of course wouldn't have helped us but I guess the next guests if they actually came to fix them). - I'm not a huge stickler for housekeeping to change bedding and/or towels every day (honestly prefer they don't) - in 6 days, we think they came twice and made the beds and switched towels, which was fine, but they didn't bother to deal with the garbage (took it out ourselves or it would have overflowed) or even attempt to vacuum (I noticed the kitchen area had some debris on the floor which they never cleaned and cobwebs in a few corners). The worst: - so housekeeping not the best as shown above but then the evening of the 3rd to last day we noticed ants on one bedroom nightstand - not 1 or 2 but several. Husband enjoyed killing them with a napkin and we went to bed. - The next morning (our 2nd to last day) we got up for breakfast and came back (probably 9 am) to find A LOT more ants all over the nightstand and now in our bed. So we stripped the bed entirely and left the bedding outside our room and talked to the front desk who said housekeeping would be out to deal with it shortly. - We had a full day planned so we left and returned to our room at 6 pm to find that housekeeping had picked up our bedding but had DONE NOTHING ELSE. The ants were still crawling on the nightstand and our bed didn't have any new bedding or anything. So we went to the front desk and were told housekeeping was gone for the day, but they'd get us some bedding and we could make our own bed. We got one replacement pillow when the bed originally had 4 (thankfully I had my own). Went to make the bed and discovered that the mattress pad they gave us was very wet - hopefully it came out of the washer/dryer that didn't work well but I didn't want to dwell on that. And a sheet was stained with dirt. - So we went back for more bedding and thankfully we'd killed enough ants on our own that they didn't seem to have migrated to the bed again. The ants for some reason were confined to only one bedroom, not the living area or kitchen (where you'd think they'd be) or the other bedroom. Things happen and we would have been accepted that, except the staff's response was non-existent and this was the final annoying straw of several mishaps here. The front desk staff that night was apologetic but couldn't really help except to give us bedding. Not sure if the day staff messed up and didn't tell housekeeping or housekeeping just decided not to bother or what but it was a mess and considering their lackluster job throughout our stay I'm not surprised. Also, we had a very bizarre experience that night to witness a party being held basically in the lobby area (while waiting for our bedding). It was absolute chaos and not sure why the heck management would ever consider it a good idea to have a party in the lobby (this is where people had breakfast during the day but it was way too many people for the space and literal chaos with kids running everywhere including one who was stomping on the counter - where breakfast items were - and knocking things on the floor). No one was in charge of these kids and the two front desk staff basically just gave up (I don't blame them). It was crazy for us to see; I can't imagine what a new guest checking in would have thought.

did not meet expectations in anyway whatsoever. the check in was performed by a rude unpleasant overweight, illiterate man who was rude all the way through it. When i walked in, at 2.55pm, he was sat on his phone on instagram or some form of social media. i asked him if the room was read and he proceeded to tell me, without looking up once, that the rule was that 3pm was the check in. Not like there were 20 other people waiting, just me, and my children after a 12 hour flight from europe! we sat and literally wait the 4 mins to 3pm and al of a sudden the rooms had been released for him to check us in. he then decided to put us in the room, most farest away from the main reception area, at the back of the carpark, were they send everyone in a truck and where, it seems they have long term/staying homeless people. This is one of the dirtiest hotels i have ever stayed in my entire life and i have traveled the world. Including all areas of the third world!! rude staff and no housekeeping staff whatsoever, along with the dirtiest of rooms will make for a terribly meaningless stay at this dreadful place. i can't stand moaning people and im not one to moan, but i look around this place and it is absolutely unsafe in every way. The ironing board is covered in what i am guessing, is human blood and the toilet had no seat on it. The towels in one of our rooms were dirty and stained and the carpark is creepy as hell. I would not recommend this place to anyone. it is filthy no housekeeping and rude reception staff. whoever has this franchise could make so much money here in this spot, but you will never get repeat clients as the place sucks.

Matthew walsh was VERY patient with me, and made sure all accommodations were met, and then some. I come here as a teacher all the time, and his energy to serve you best seems to be his GREATEST intention.
