The Hugh Boutique B&B

A wonderful experience on many levels! Our daughter had her wedding and reception at The Hugh, we stayed there and had her wedding catered by their restaurant Maison Bleue. First off, the wedding was amazing, we could not have wished for a better venue, Sandy, John and their staff went above and beyond making the day even more special. The rooms (the wedding party stayed at The Hugh) were immaculate and beautifully decorated. I loved how each room was different. Each room had its own bathroom, mini fridge and Keurig. The food for the wedding was from their restaurant and it was off the charts amazing, everyone enjoyed their meal. The entire staff was very attentive and there for our every need on such a special day. Whether you're staying there for a getaway, enjoying the restaurant or having a wedding there, I think you will love it as much as we did, I truly can't say enough good things about our experience at The Hugh. Thank you John and Sandy and the entire staff at The Hugh!

We were on the top (third) floor. There were only 8 rooms in total. The owners, Sandy & John were so nice. Their breakfasts were delicious and special! It was by far a great location. Although the Madison Bleue Bistro was on the first floor, you couldn’t hear anything. Really soundproof!

I enjoyed our stay at The Hugh. It is impeccably well kept and the owners are very solicitous for all your needs. The breakfast is outstanding. I reserved the Blue and Silver rooms (third floor) for my husband/me and our visiting guests. My only reason for not giving five stars is the building itself, i.e. small bathrooms require the sink to be outside the bathroom in the sleeping area. I suspect it is unavoidable but it was the only aspect I didn’t like as I prefer privacy at the sink. Otherwise, The Hugh is terrific.

My wife and I just stayed at the Hugh! We had the Ebony Suite. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Very close to many restaurants and shopping. We had dinner at Maison Bleue Bistro. I totally recommend the Steak Frites entree. Breakfast is included with the room. And it was outstanding!!! Definitely will be back in the future. Owners Sandy and John did a great job with this Bed N Breakfast!!!

Great holiday in a beautifully decorated Victorian villa. Location was perfect - walking distance to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. The owners Sandy and John truly added value to our holiday. They also have two restaurants: Mason Bleue and The Jardin.
