Cape Cottage Inn

This was our second stay at Cape Cottage Inn in two years. Cape May, Villas, Rio Grande, and Wildwood hold sentimental places in my family's hearts since at least 1960. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, or just want somewhere insanely comfortable and cozy, if I could give the cottages at Cape Cottage Inn 10 stars out of 5. The cottages are absolutely adorable, not super fancy or pretentious. Last year, the property manager, Mark, and the receptionist Faith allowed us to reschedule for the following month, as my wife and I contracted Covid 2 days prior to our departure. This year, under very ambitious new management, we were greeted by the new General Manager, Dawne. We chatted briefly at check-in and check-out about why my wife came down to the shore and why we chose Cape Cottage Inn. She's a very charming and casual person to talk to, very informative and casual. She spoke of plans to attract more guests, as the cottages are not quite visible from the road (definitely not a drawback), with a light in her eyes that assured me our new favorite vacation spot will be making improvements. How you can improve on perfection has me quite curious for our stay next year. Bottom line: Anytime we stay down there, we will stay nowhere else.
