The pillows are fluffy the beds are comfortable and the service is excellent! I sleep during the day and work overnights at the hospital and I have not had any issues sleeping except for a little bit of brightness in my room. The curtains are blackout curtains just keeping them closed all of the way is the only issue that I've had.

Stay 02 November 2024 We decided to visit Portsmouth, NH at short notice and hotel prices downtown were expensive ($350+) so decided to look a little further out and decided on HJ, which ended up being a good choice at good price. First off.... when checking into hotel, the guy on the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful - always a good sign. The hotel rooms were comfortable, bright and spotlessly clean. The location of hotel was good.... it took us about 25 minutes to walk from hotel to downtown Portsmouth. We got an Uber back to hotel around 11pm and that cost less than $7. The complimentary breakfast was basic but sufficient. Parking was free. All in a all a good choice. Definitely recommended.

We were in Portsmouth to visit the Regional Hospital. The HOJOs is very conveniently located. It was a good stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and roomy enough, with a microwave & refrigerator. The parking is a bit challenging and the breakfast room is very small. Typical continental-type breakfast and microwavable breakfast sandwiches. Price was really good for the area. Oh - elevator needs a cosmetic upgrade.
