Horrible booked for 3 days after the first night i checked out expecting a refund. I didn't make a big deal just checked out expecting a refund for the other two days. I only got one refunded, so I went back to find out and tell them the problem. The people next room over must have been living there they were in and out all night long. car beeping unlock and locking definitely shady stuff. The room had hair all over the soap dispenser there were stains on the carpet like dogs were living in the room (dog feces stains) so I packed up once I get into the hallway the smell was horrible like strong rotten fish. I get to the end of the hall and next to the rear entrance door trash all over. I called mutable times getting nowhere finally got a hold of the manager she said no refund without getting a 24hour notice mind you nothing on the web site states that and figuring with the issues it wouldn't been a problem. So, first off don't stay there second if you do make sure you complain right away. As being someone that doesn't complain that's what happens! FYI this is my first time ever wrighting a bad review.

A good place to stay that’s off the main drag (and therefore slightly cheaper) and close to shopping outlets and fast food joints. Most people visiting the area come for North Conway’s Main Street of shops and the railroad. This is a bit further out, beyond walking distance, but still accommodating. My wife and I stayed in a King Room w/ in-wall fireplace. Upon entry, there’s room enough to walk in and stand before being up against the king sized bed and various bedroom furniture. A desk that was lacking a chair, a bureau for clothing, and what looked to be a lower table with metal strips for any luggage to be placed on. There was no additional seating available, so the only place to settle in on was the large bed. That’s not terrible, but if you’re walking into the room from any weather outside, you’ve got nowhere to sit. The television was new-ish, 32” flatscreen, with spectrum cable service. Nothing special. The in-wall fireplace is gas operated, with a maximum timer of 30 minutes. I can’t speak to every room with this option, but my fireplace produced little heat, even though there looked like vents to push the hot air out. It’s also very close to the edge of the bed, undoubtedly to warm it up but we had no such luck. Moving on to the bathroom, it was very clean and well maintained. The building is clearly being renovated and there are signs of it in the flooring of the bathroom. It’s new, and it was missing a few pieces nearer the sink. The sink itself was inset in an alcove of the wall, with a mirror being even further back, making it hard to see anything without leaning over the sink. The water pressure of the faucet was ABYSMAL with barely more than a trickle from the hot water, and a somewhat decent stream from the cold water. After seeing the pressure of the sink, I chose not to attempt a shower, though the shower unit itself looked clean and well appointed. There were a few cosmetic things that needed to be fixed, such as a towel hook in the bathroom and tape holding the bathtub jacuzzi instrument panel door closed. Overall, we stayed in the room for the King bed, and it was sufficient. We would stay again, but it would be another short stay.

This place sucks, the third party booking wasnt helpful and no one at the hotel answers their phone,I’ve never had an issue here, but I’m sure someone took over that doesn’t care about customer service.if they want they call call me I won’t answer so they know the feeling I shouldn’t act this way but when you’re dealing with pathetic people and customer service this is where it goes

I booked this place because they advertised two pools, one inside, one out, and a hot tub. It's July in NH and the pools were the #1 reason I booked. Hot tub and outdoor pool were closed. Indoor pool was tiny and smelly. Wouldn't give me a refund. Went to Briarcliff instead! Close, super clean, polite - great outdoor pool for same $$$!

I very rarely write reviews, but I felt this was important. I read the reviews for this motel AFTER my husband had already booked the room. I was not happy
..I was quite nervous, but the room was booked, there we no available hotel rooms under $250.00 for one night and we were 2 hours away from home, so we didn’t really have a choice. We got to the hotel very late that night. There was nobody there to check us in, but our room keys and instructions were waiting for us at the door. Awesome! We get to our room, open the door and to our surprise the room was beautiful! All updated and new! The colors in the room were grey, white and brown and had red accents which made for a pretty cool pop of color! Our 2 double beds were so comfy! The sheets and comforter were so soft that we didn’t want to get out of bed the next morning! Pros-the bathroom is gorgeous, modern and brand spankin’ new! There is a dispenser filled with shampoo and body wash hanging in the shower. There is also a permanent nightlight in the bathroom. I liked that. The beds are very comfy and so is the bedding. There is a little coffee pot, fridge, a big screen tv, small round table and a chair in the room. The air conditioning/heating unit is brand new. We set the temperature to our liking with no issues. Cons- These are not necessarily bad things, but if you are used to regular hotel rooms with amenities, then you might want to read this to prepare. There is no tub, so you can’t give your baby a bath. There is no closet, no ironing board, no hooks and no hangers anywhere in the room. If you’re going to a wedding and planning on staying at this hotel just know that you can’t hang your dress or suit anywhere. There is however a bureau and shelving for your stuff. We had to fold our winter jackets and put them on the shelves. I didn’t like that. When it rains or snows and your jackets are wet you’ll have to lay them on the bed or chair, I suppose. There is no microwave. There is no hair dryer. There is a sliding pocket door to the bathroom, but no handle to open the door from the inside. Would I stay at this hotel again? OH ABSOLUTELY! Would I recommend it to people looking for a hotel to stay at?? OH ABSOLUTELY! If I was the owner/s of this hotel I would look into installing hooks of some kind for guests to hang jackets etc., because there is no closet. I’d also install a handle to get out of the bathroom. That being said, they are doing a wonderful job renovating the rooms. It’s a work in progress. Things take time, but all of their hard work will pay off in the end. I am definitely looking forward to another visit at the Yankee Clipper!
