My husband and I stayed here January 10-12 for our anniversary. The hotel was great, the staff were kind, and the restaurants were great as well. We really enjoyed our time. My one star review comes from the customer service we have received since. I accidentally left my AirPods in our room which I know, is my mistake but accidents happen often. I was told that all I needed to do was send in a return label, which I did immediately. Apparently the label got lost after they confirmed to me they received it and would send the AirPods. I have called multiple, multiple times and can go in depth about the conversations I have had on the phone simply trying to get them back. I have been told many times that they would be sent out. Today (March 27th) I was told that my best bet would be to make the 3 hour drive to pick them up I don't know about you, but I'd much rather invest in, and stay at a place where a simple request when I make a little mistake as a guest can be resolved. Happy to change my review if I can actually get some communication, or my items back without having to make the drive, or just invest in a new set.

We got to the hotel right on check in time and at getting to our room, it was nice and spacious! Nice and clean as well:) As you walk into the hotel, you walk pass a room full of pokie machines.. all you can smell are cigarettes! The hotel room just needs some TLC otherwise it was clean and the beds were comfortable.

What an odd place out in the middle of nowhere. We were here to visit the salt flats and this was a great place to stay. The casino and hotel are bit outdated, but the place was really clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was like going back in time.

When I arrived to check in the girl was nice she assigned me a smoking room without asking, the only thing is I mentioned I have a touch of asthma and can't stand cigarette smoke, as I was reassigned a new room, I entered the second room, it could be better all the beds have wrinkles in the sheets upon arrival, there is some damage to the wall frame like someone's been hitting it with a cart, or luggage, as for the rest of my stay the bed wasn't as comfy as the last time I came here i was given a nicer room, this time it was not up to par the drain plug for the tub didn't even work, so I had to use a washcloth. I have seen better maybe the next time it will be better only time will tell. Had to walk down 3 hallways to get to my room so it is a long way to 281 but it is good they have alot of rooms service could have been a little better oh yeah and there is a new fee they charge a Usage Fee the girl called it costing 17.41 never heard of this before and my friend owns a hotel nearby and has never heard of this so remember u will have a extra charge on your card along with a incidental fee that will fall off, but not the Usage Fee as she called it.

The Red Garter was a stop over on the way home. It was a Monday & the parking lot was practially vacant. Checkin was short staffed & waited 25 minutes with just on person before me. The room was clean. Tried the restaurant but no one ever showed up to seat me & waited 10 minutes. Even the one couple already seated was looking for her. Went to another casino to grab dinner.
