La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Reno

The location is close to the interstate. However, when we first checked in and went to our room, it was filled with marijuana smoke and tucked into a sort of 'alleyway' that was filled with trash and debris. The front desk employee gave us another room key to try. As we drove back to park near the room, we watched a drug deal take place, a man smoking a bong in his truck in the parking lot, and a barefooted lady, barely clothed walking back and forth from a vehicle to a room that was wide open and clearly trashed. We did eventually go look at the room we were assigned. Luckily it didn't smell like smoke. However, the lock on the door was completely broken off (gone). We felt so unsafe that we left and never returned. When we called to cancel our second night and ask for a refund, we were told that it was non-refundable and that they would not work with us even given the circumstances. Do NOT stay here!

I did not want to give one star for this property. Do not stay here. BUYER BEWARE.... yes, the cost per night is cheap. However, this is the only positive here. The outside of the property was dirtied with litter and in a questionable neighborhood. Although the room was remodeled, it smelled of smoke, several light switches did not work, and the secondary lock /bolt on the door was broken off. I am relieved that we didn't have to use the phone that was in the room as it appeared to be covered in black sticky grime.. it was gross. All the linen was stained with a few cigarette burns in the mix for good measure. The shower curtain was stained with mold/mildew. No water pressure and took forever for hot water. I repeat... Do not stay here. Each night, we were not able to sleep because of either people fighting, letting their animals out or having conversations on their phone right outside our door in the middle of the night. Contenental breakfast was non existent..... Once again, I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE.

Do not stay at this establishment. Very disappointed. Ruined our stay since it was not enjoyable at all. This place had dirty Linen, Garbage littered around property. Noisy at night with loud tenants and dogs barking and fighting throughout the night. No security as area was not safe around hotel.

There’s a lot of construction going on on 1/2 of the hotel that we were not advised about. The rooms are remodeled, but at a three star level. The sheets were thin, and there was not an extra blanket, the area between the wings looks dark and dungeony. That check out I found a random $19 charge for who knows what. I got that removed. I would not stay here

The room we were assigned was filthy, the drapes, dirty, the carpet was stained, smelled and falling apart. The bedsheets were pilled and thin and there was no extra blanket for warmth. The noise from the freeway and the airport could not be drowned out by the white noise of the fan. We will not be returning here
