Whitefish Hostel

Loved this friendly, comfy, and artfully furnished place. Stayed here with my tween daughter for one night and we so enjoyed it. Lynon and Kirtlye arranged so that we could stay in the 4-bed room with other females. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom area was super clean. In the morning there was excellent coffee/tea and homemade banana bread offered in the sunny front parlor. We wanted to spend some time at Whitefish Lake and the sisters lent us beach towels to use and offered the use of the showers after the formal check out time. Also, they have the sweetest dog ever, who loves to play fetch!

While we went only for lunch, we chatted a long time with the two entrepreneurial sisters who have opened this very affordable place for friends and singles looking for a cheap but clean place to stay. They dorm style beds and they serve lunch etc for anyone even if they do not stay in the hostel. We went for soup, salads, cookies and protein balls. The sisters are most friendly and make you feel at home in this homely place. If you want to have a feel for having an experience with the hospitality of MT people you do not want to miss visiting this place. In addition to very tasty food you will get to taste the warmth and friendliness of these two wonderful sisters

Most affordable place to stay for a night. Super clean place, friendly staff, free maps, books, wifi, coffee and banana bread. Clean, comfortable bed, warm showers, and a deck to sit out on. Close walk to the Flathead Lake and downtown area. Will be back next time I'm in the area.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I stayed a few times during a trip to Glacier. They were so accommodating and even let me use the backyard to dry out my camping gear after four very wet/cold days in the back-country. The two sisters (owners) provided amazing customer service, answered questions, and overall had great energy. If i had to pick on one thing they don't have electrical outlets by each bed, but I never had an issue finding a safe place to charge things.

Clean, quiet with great coffee and banana bread in the morning! Staff is super helpful and kind-very groovy vibe. Nice starting point to outdoor activities, especially hiking in Glacier. Highly recommended.
