Travelodge by Wyndham Deer Lodge Montana

This has to be the worst motel my family has ever stayed in. It is old, run down, and upon barely getting up the narrow stairs (I am 72), upon entering our room, we were treated to a horrible smell. After a long 10 hour drive, we all were very tired. Took our showers, and headed to bed. Pulled back the covers and surprise, the sheets were covered in black animal hair and long red human hairs. It was disgusting. My son went down to the front desk, and told the man who was the night guy about it. All he did was hand my son a set of king sheets, (the beds were queens) and that was it. So, at 1 am in the morning we had to completely change the bedding ourselves. In the morning, I went down to the front desk and reported the incident. All I got was, oh, we are sorry and we will give you a $16.00 refund. You have got to be kidding!! I paid $112.00 for a stinky room with dirty bedding, had to do the maid's job, and make the bed myself, and that was the outcome. I will never stay there again, and I advise that your don't either. This place needs to go out of business.

This hotel is no longer a travelodge and I don't know if it is open; could not reserve on Travelodge site. I don't know what your policy is but I thought you should know so that your listing can be accurate. You can check with Travelodge if necessary.

Stopped in during a snowstorm. It's old for sure and simple. But it was clean, quiet, has lots of room to walk the dogs, a Family Dollar, 4Bs and Gas Station Convenience store within a block. Plenty of light in the parking spac and plenty of room to walk the dogs.

The facility is in the process of updating it's 'look'. As for me, I was tired and wanted a "soft-horizontal-surface" and I found one! The employees were more than pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. After a long day in the car, I had a GREAT night!

No breakfast! On a 4 night stay they won't make up your room, asked for clean towels and the person at the front desk said, "on the second floor there is a washer and dryer". when you take a shower, the water sits in the tub. They have a coffee pot in the room but NO coffee. Not recommended
