Will definitely stay there again on next trip to Mayo Clinic. Shuttle service back and forth to Mayo Clinic was always on time and driver was very helpful. Continental breakfast was a big plus. Twigs restaurant had very good food also. Rooms were just what we needed. Staff was excellent.

You lost us. We had been loyal customers for many years, but enough is enough. A few weeks ago when we were here for a night we saw a centipede looking bug in the room, chalked it up to a fluke. Saw the same type of bug this time and that’s it. When we brought it up to the front desk they weren’t even surprised. It’s a known issue that isn’t being addressed. We were offered another room, (not the extended stay type assuming because they all have the critters), but decided to pass as our daughters would now be on a pullout couch instead of a bed and quite honestly had just had enough of the place. Our shower drain wasn’t working so we called. A guy showed up the next day to fix it. Toilet paper holder came right off the wall when using it. Little problems turn into big problems. The only thing this place has going for it is the Mayo shuttle. Daryl is awesome, that’s about it. Stinks because we have been good customers but it’s time to say farewell.

Disappointing- room smelled. they must not wash their pillows. Phone did not work, do not disturb sign was missing. I had an appointment at Mayos and was supposed to get 1 night free but that got fouled up and didn't get it. 2 nights cost me $264 in their cheapest room. I would never stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel while attending a wedding and loved it so much we continued to stay for several days after. Staff was helpful, rooms comfy, pillows, beds, maid service, parking, breakfast, a shuttle bus and great restaurant. We would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay there in the future. Well done folks! (You have thought of so many little touches that make this a real hit!)

The hotel: you get what you pay for. It's salvageable. Rooms are clean but dated circa 1970s brown and tan. The pool area is filthy. I felt bad for the young person working reception -- it's clear that the resources are limited. But the worst is the hotel's restaurant. It's called Twigs, but Turds is a more representative moniker. Went there because I has having surgery at Mayo. r. Asked in advance the maĂźtre d' regarding hour when the kitchen closed. Was told 9:30. Returned at 9:00. Was told -- with "Minnesota nice" attitude -- that the only option was the bar. Plenty of seats, but didn't want to make a stink. Sat. And sat. And sat while the bartender chatted endlessly with another customer. No greeting, no menus, no nothing. The maĂźtre d returned to behind the bar, and attended to some meaningless task. I interrupted the bartender to get the maĂźtre d''s attention, and asked him to give me the menu containing the alleged food that they allegedly serve. He slapped the menu on the bar. No service. The time is now 9:25. I walked out. The restaurant is a horror of a joint that should be closed by the health department.
