The good: Very comfortable bed/pillows. Spacious room. Good free breakfast. Great location. Great price. The bad: Really yucky shower with many rust areas and peeling, bubbly paint. The gross: Multiple black things in the ice. YUCK!!!!

The hotel is perfectly located. Literally minutes from several great restaurants including a Jack Stack BBQ. The street car runs every 10-15 minutes and is a nice alternative to Uber. The hotel itself is a standard Home 2. Lots of room, a full fridge and a separate seating area. We loved our bed and the quietness of our room. Slept so well all three nights. Christian at the front desk is amazing. He allowed us to check in and answered all of our questions patiently. We would definitely return

This hotel was OK - just OK. First of all, location was perfect - the trolley runs right in from of it and the closest trolley stop was less than a block. This was our third stop on a week long trip ( the other two were at Marriott hotels) and this breakfast, while (again) OK, lagged far behind. Now, for the rest - Room was clean enough but when we walked in the first thing I smelled was wet, dirty dog. I went to the front desk and he gave me a can of Febreeze. I think he was already irritated with me when I asked for a trolley map and I grabbed the wrong one - he impatiently told me "No, it's' Dine KC". Ok, guy. I was seriously exhausted or I would've asked for another room but didn't want to move. The smell improved over the 3 days we stayed. It IS a pet friendly hotel and we have stayed at other pet friendly places but have never smelled a room like this. There did seem to be a lot of disguising of various smells here - very strong cleaners being used in hallways and elevators. Hotel could use a big refresh, but I did feel like it was clean. Other than the first desk clerk we encountered, the remaining staff we came into contact with were super friendly and helpful. Another hint - we did get the queen suite and it was huge for the two of us. I was given the opportunity to choose our own room and picked the room facing the trolley line - DO NOT DO THIS. Seriously - we were there over a weekend and traffic was loud. Other than traffic noise the room was quiet - in the hallway we could hear kids in other rooms but not once we got to our room. Would we stay here again? Probably, but will pick another room away from the busy road and only if the nearby Marriott hotels are full. We do usually stay at Marriott brand but thought we'd beef up our Hilton points.

Terrible experience with nasty and small rooms. Not a suite by any means. I took photos of the especially bad areas and showed them to the front desk clerk who actually agreed with me that the shower had mold/mildew..gunk and the wall by wastebasket in room had food spills on it which had not been cleaned off. Stained rug and bedding skirt cover. Desk Clerk said his Manager would get hold of us, It has been a week and I have heard nothing. I have been an Honors member for years and this is by far the worst experience I have had in a Hilton property.

Great location downtown, very walkable to restaurants and bars. Bed was comfy, wifi was good, shower pressure was good. Housekeeping was suppose to come every other day but didnât, we had to call for service. On a 4 night stay youâd expect housekeeping at least twice, they werenât going to come at all if we hadnât called. Never used the kitchenette but was nice to have some of the amenities. Free breakfast was alright, not the best, mainly single serve long life items, and once they were out, they were out - but we made the best of it. Parking was easy.
