Traveling through town for Montana hunting trip and just need a cheap place to stay that was clean and good reviews. Appeared newly renovated. Very clean and comfortable beds. Pleasantly surprised. Great deal if that’s what you’re looking for!

Stayed here based upon positive feedback and reviews from previous guests. We noted that the hotel has been newly remodeled. However, we weren’t given a remodeled or even clean room. The room for our overnight stay looked as though it was used for extended stay, smelled of stale smoke and was utterly filthy. Grimy walls, baseboards and towels that were either so stained or maybe even unwashed. Bathroom door was warped and wouldn’t close. The only reason we stayed was that the bed did appear clean, it was late and the charge was non-refundable. We aren’t picky or hard to please, but we came close to bailing on this one. If you get a remodeled room, you’re probably ok. But check the room before you pay!!!

BED BUGS!! The room had just been renovated and it appeared that it was a very thorough renovation. The ratty curtains and chair were the only original parts of the room that remained and it appeared to have practically been torn down to the studs. The room was supplied with one of each kind of towel. The employee in the office kept telling me they would be around with supplies "tomorrow." Unfortunately there were three of us so after refusing to leave empty handed he finally made a show of giving me the towels. Getting back to the room I realized he had given us only 1 bath towel and shorted us on the other supplies. We decided to make due with 1 bar of soap, etc. In the morning I made a cup of coffee which ended up all over the counter. The cup had a barely visible hole in the bottom. I tried a second cup. Same problem. Fortunately there is a Scooters very close by. The second night, on returning to the hotel, we realized they took ALL of our towels but didn't bring us any replacements. My husband went with me to get towels. The same employee did not argue with us this time but gave us what appeared to be 4 of each type of towel. What we ended up with was 0 washcloths, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and three bath mats. for three people. This is a minor inconvenience compared to the bed bugs that we also found the following morning. They did appear to be dead BUT examining the sheets I realized how stained they were with yellow mystery spots. I took some pics of the bed bugs (circled in red). While the spots weren't real clear in the photos I've attempted to mark them in blue. The sheets and towels simply didn't smell good. I don't think they every used hot water or bleach. Photos attached. Additionally, why renovate a room but not keep it clean? I'm not talking about construction debris. I'm talking about hair, linens, yuckies smeared on the walls, etc. I have never written a review like this but then I've never stayed anywhere this aggravating before. It was a relatively cheap room but not worth the bed bug risk.

The room was lovely inside with newer carpet, comfortable beds, and a very nice tub/shower. Close to lots of restaurants. Would stay again for an overnight stay. Allows pets and had good Wi-Fi and television services.

The room smelled disgusting, sour. Strong room deodorizer made it hard to breathe. Towels and linens ALL smelled sour. There was a dozen feral cats 15 feet from our hotel door. Although our door locked It didn’t seem secure, like it could be busted in. I slept with the clothes iron. I wouldn’t doubt if there were bed bugs.
