Lighthouse Hospitality Hannibal

Despite our original impression, this turned out to be a great place! Thank you! The first thing to note, is that this is not a bed and breakfast as a Google search will inaccurately indicate. It is an Airbnb: no breakfast. Having said that it is a nice three-room Airbnb with easy check-in and check-out. Don't let that it shares an entrance with a Mexican restaurant startle you. This is a dual-purpose building: restaurant and multiple Airbnb units in separate parts of the building. More onsite signage or online description would be useful. After you enter the building, enter a texted code on the main security door to the Airbnb hallway. Then you will encounter three or four independent units with security doors. We found this all a bit confusing upon arriving as we saw no signs outside the building with "Lighthouse Hospitality" on them--just the restaurant name. Our actual unit was clean and modern (despite the iffy entrance). It was quiet, well appointed, and roomy. We had a view of the Missouri River through a large bay window, great Wifi, snacks(!), a comfy king-sized bed, and a clean, roomy, very well lit bathroom. There is even a jacuzzi-type tub in the sitting room where there is also a refrigerator, microwave, and smart TV. There were great bedside reading lights and tables on each side, plus another TV in the bedroom. It was perfect restful evening for a couple. Thank you, Jeff.

Stayed in this Inn for two nights, and have absolutely no regrets. Without question we would stay again. Price is extremely reasonable. Room was well cared for and very clean, with contemporary décor. Communication with hospitality was simple. We were given access codes for entry to the building, and the room. This is an INN, not a hotel. It's not staffed for a check-in, or for housekeeping. Only note, there is an ice bucket in the room, but no ice machine. Water is left in the fridge for each guest. We assume you can get ice from the restaurant when open.

The river views are amazing from the room and the inn is an easy walk to Historic Hannibal. The rooms are clean and include a steel door to help reduce the train and river noise in the bedroom. Unfortunately the walls between the rooms are paper thin. The neighbors snoring was loud enough to wake me at 4 am. Then the other neighbor turned on their TV for me to enjoy QVC. Bring earplugs if you want any sleep.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverside Inn. Our suite was clean, convenient to downtown, and very tastefully decorated. The train was a little disrupting at night, but would certainly stay there again!

Made reservations and when arrived everything was prepared and ready. Service was fast and all employee's were friendly. Food was served quickly and hot and fresh when it arrived. Everyone at the tables were happy and pleased with the food. Prices were very reasonable. Excellent all around.
