Our third visit in a year, we just love the staff and accommodations. It's one of my favorite hotels, ever. The Bar and the restaurant are warm and welcoming. Any issues are dealt with personally, and in a timely fashion. Thanks for making such a historic, interesting place available. See you later this year.

Our second stay at Hotel Fredrick, convenient to everything available in Boonville. Overlooks the Missouri River and about ten minutes drive to Budweiser Warm Spring Ranch, breeding facility and farm for their Clydesdales herd. Everyone was nice and helpful with any questions or issues we had. Can choose your exact room wanted by location and furnishing. We love the mix of Antiques and updated bathrooms and some of the more modern furnishings. Our rooms have been large and clean. Staff, bartenders, servers, front desk and even the owner on site, are welcoming and pleasant. We will be returning in a few months with more couples in tow for another three day visit.

Disappointing experience. We’ve been fans of the Fred for years but are sad to say that this wasn’t a good experience. We discovered in the morning of our departure that we didn’t have hot water despite there being only a handful of guests in the hotel. When I reported this to the desk clerk- (who was sitting on the couch in the foyer on a personal call and didn’t get up to check us out or even ask for the key back) she didn’t apologize for the inconvenience . After a lengthy pause she said she guesses she’ll ask the housekeeper to check it out. Disappointing response from a very unprofessional clerk. I left with the room key in my pocket by mistake- as she never asked me for it. Luckily I found it before I pulled away. This was our last stay at the Fred, definitely not the same level of TLC that the last owners had for the property.

Historic hotel comfortably retrofitted with some modern features. Rooms very clean and tidy. Staff extremely cordial and helpful. Comfortable lodging for the second night in our Katy Trail ride. Interesting photos of yesteryear scattered throughout the premises. They have a bar and restaurant in site. It unfortunately it was closed on the night we were there. Continental breakfast was just that. Extremely basic but we made do.

Sad to say this hotel was disappointing. It is on two very busy roads downtown. The windows are old and therefore are not soundproof at all. The air conditioning unit is very noisy and when it came on, even the beds shook. Fortunately, I brought my white noise machine or we would not have slept much at all. The blinds on the windows are old and let in the first morning light whether you're ready to get up or not. There were holes on the wall in the bathroom and really nowhere to put one's toiletries. We waited quite a while for someone to come to the front desk to check us in - right around 7:30 in the evening. The continental breakfast was disappointing, especially for the price paid for the room. We love staying in historic hotels, but this one has seen better days. I would not recommend it.
