Hyatt Place Biloxi really exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful hotel. As soon as I walked in the room, it had the freshest, cleanest smell. The room was also quite spacious for a hotel room; it almost felt like a suite. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The best free breakfast buffet I have had at a hotel. Every time I need to stay in Biloxi, I will stay here.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Biloxi and was extremely disappointed with my check-in experience. The front desk lady (Ketia) wasnāt overtly rude, but her demeanor and lack of helpfulness made me feel unwelcome. I requested a room with a sea view and a queen-size bed, but she quickly informed me that none were available, despite my eligibility for an upgrade as a Hyatt Discoverist member. She didnāt make any effort to accommodate my request or acknowledge my status. I was placed in room 323, which was next to a very loud vent that ran all night and made it impossible to sleep. On top of that, the room looked out over the dog relief area, which was not a pleasant view to have all afternoon. The next day, I spoke with a different front desk lady who said she was present during my check-in. She confirmed that there were indeed sea-view, queen-size rooms available at the time, but Ketia had not offered one. At least this new staff member acknowledged the mistake and upgraded me. She was much nicer and more professional than the one who checked me in. Throughout my initial interaction with Ketia, there was an uncomfortable undertone to her service that felt discriminatory. She appeared more attentive and accommodating to other guests while dismissing my questions and concerns. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I am a Hyatt Discoverist member and did not receive any of the benefits that should come with this statusāno recognition, no late checkout option, and no preferred room assignment. The rest of the hotel amenities were adequate, but this initial experience cast a shadow over my entire stay. I expected much better customer service from a Hyatt property, especially considering the premium rates they charge. Despite having stayed at this location many times in the past, Iām seriously reconsidering my loyalty. This disappointing treatment has me questioning whether Iāll return to Hyatt Place Biloxi again. A long-time guest deserves better than this.

My favorite thing about the hotel was the staff, lots of recommendations for local restaurants and local history. Next was the location, not far from Jefferson Davies house and the Mississippi Aquarium. And third, it was across the street from the beach!

I am writing to address the cancellation of my reservation. It was canceled because I did not check in on Friday. However, I arrived on Saturday and had to pay again. As a result, I lost the money I paid for my original reservation. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and see if there is a way to resolve this issue, as I effectively paid twice for the same stay.

Hotel was great! It's right across the street from the beach and less a mile to the casinos. Room was clean and great and the staff couldn't have been any nicer. Shout out to the lovely lady in the kitchen who gave us great information on how to catch the Mardi Gras parades! Would definitely stay there again!
