Days Inn by Wyndham Worthington

This place needs to be shut down. Extremely disgusting and run down. Practically every item was extremely used, dirty, and broken. I could not even deadbolt my door. Flies everywhere. This place is the definition of hole in the wall.

Facility is rundown. The Room was dirty. The Bed rock hard. Garbage outside. Furniture in bad shape.

Never going there again. Not clean pool door was open but no water in it, it's a law suit waiting to happen.

We only stayed one night. We should have left when we pulled into the parking lot and no other vehicles were there. Check in was quick with reservations. Our room was on the main level in a building away from the check in site. The door was not locked at the entrance from the outside. With further inspection we found loose wiring on the door. There was also what appeared to be blood smeared across the glass at eye level on the inside of the exterior door. Our room was the first one on the right. The wall heater was not plugged in so the room was cold and damp smelling. I plugged it in and turned it on so we could warm up. In the bathroom behind the door hung a used towel that had not been removed from the previous guest. And the door frame was peeling off and rusting. We did stay the night. The next night one in our party went back to retire for the evening. Blood still on the door, no one had been into the room to exchange towels or make the beds. Once again it was cold, she checked the heater unit and it was still turned to the on position but not working. She attempted to check the cord and said the outlet sparked and smoked, turning her palm and some fingers black. She notified the front desk. The desk person accused us of unplugging the heater and telling us that they never turn it off. She then took a space heater to the room. We refused to stay another night. So at midnight we packed and departed to find another hotel. This lady at the desk was so rude to us we don’t feel bad telling everyone we meet about our nightmare stay and how we were treated.

First hotel review ever, but want to warn others. Disgusting smell in hallway; fruit flies buzzing all around in lobby and breakfast area; pool was locked; vending machines out of order; junk overflowing trash cans; crabby hosts; beer bottles in parking lot; unsafe shower for handicapped guests; microwave dirty; bad was OK. Stay away -- you've been warned!
