Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown

I stayed 4/12-4/16 with my teenage son. The location was close to Target Center, Target Field & the light rail station. Also had a lot of bars & restaurants close by. Stayed in a junior suite, room was clean and perfect for us. Breakfast was very good every morning and the staff was nice & helpful. We went to the evening reception once, it would have been better if the local craft beer had been included. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The Embassy suites are ideally situated in downtown, but so are a number of other hotels. It's not one of the best Embassy suites that i've stayed in. The hotel is clearly ready for a refurb, and certainly a deep clean. The rooms can be cold and somewhat dark, they take an age to warm up - usually a week, although the rooms are spacious. The showers lack any power or water pressure. The internet (or should i say the lack of it), is appalling ! Difficult to connect to. cuts out all the time, having to continually log on from within different areas of the hotel. The breakfast offering are good and the omelet station is great. you do get some free snacks and drinks at the daily evening reception, although it would be nice to have a coffee station available. You do have a choice when coming to Minneapolis - choose wisely !

I went to their website to book a room then was transferred to a third party sight that then when I canceled my reservation proceeded to almost charge me the full amount this was over a full month in advance the biggest scam I’ve ever seen and no one from the hot l with assist you you just keep getting transferred around and then told it wasn’t booked through them which is B.S.

Wonderful overnight stay. Front desk staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and clean, no noise. Shuttle runs every 1/2 hr starting at 3:30. Shuttle driver was also very friendly. 5 minutes to terminal 2 at MSP. Very convenient to airport. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 12/20-12/23 for a Christmas trip vs presents with our son. We went to MOA and rode rides , went to Vikings stadium tour , grinch musical , glow festival , and holidazzle. We cashed in our Hilton honors points so stay was free! We had a great room on the 12th floor overlooking the city and my 8 year old thought he was so fancy. Breakfast was WONDERFUL , pool was great and so was valet. We splurged on two really nice meals at Murray’s next door one night and then Oceanaire the next night! They both were 10/10. Beds were honestly very comfortable. We were in room 1201 and I think the couch mattress is DEFINITELY due to be replaced as it had a lot of accident stains assuming/hoping from ... . Besides that everything was 110% perfect!
