Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Duluth by the Mall

Stayed one night for a dance competition at the DECC. We arrived in Duluth early and we were allowed to check in early since our room was ready. That allowed us to check in and still make it to see our Granddaughter compete. Clean, updated room!

Great breakfast assortment. Typical Continental breakfast plus eggs, potato, sausage, biscuit and gravy, pancakes. Hot tub and pool were very nice. Beds very comfortable. Front desk workers very friendly. They put out fresh cookies every night at 8.

Place is very clean and breakfast has a great variety to choose from. They allow pets and the fee is super affordable. I read some of the other reviews before I came here and I have to say, I thought it was very clean and affordable and I’m coming back here again.

Nice non-fancy facility. Rooms were clean and WARM when we arrived which was huge because it was 1 degree out! I honestly would have given it a 5 but the hit tin was disgusting with black hair floating everywhere in it. It obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. Yuck!

I guess the new trend with hotels now is your room isn’t made up (fresh towels /removal of trash in your waste basket) only every 3rd day. Staff was friendly enough to exchange towels and replenish an empty tissue box. One of the outlets needed to be replaced as the cord wouldn’t stay in the receptacle. The shower head was really low for someone even 5.9. The breakfast was just ok. No fresh fruit except apples and nothing changed so after 5 days there, it got old really quick. They should have plain Greek yogurt, bananas at the minimum for fruit and hard boiled eggs. Sugary cereals, pre packaged sugary muffins, juice and sugar ladden yogurt made it tough to improvise a healthy breakfast.
