Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Metro Airport

Parking was plentiful and free. We used digital check-in so it was easy to get to our room. Our Diamond member welcome bag was in our room with two waters, microwaveable popcorn, and 2 bags of candy. The room looked like it was recently renovated because the furniture looked brand new. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the room. There was white dog hair all over the couch and the desk chairs had crumbs along the sides of both chairs. Overall, the property is very nice. The breakfast area had the made to order breakfast and a well stocked breakfast buffet. The dining area and lobby was kept very clean.

The Detroit Airport Embassy Suites is a very okay property. It is not a good representation of the Embassy Suites or Hilton brands. As you drive around the building, the first thing you will notice is one too many window screens torn and streaky siding. The lobby has a very nice waterwall/fountain. The rooms are not in the best condition, when compared to other Embassy Suites properties. In fact, it was more on par with a Red Roof Inn, Sleep Inn, etc... With all of that said, the staff was very nice. The front desk staff and the guy making omletes were a highlight. Pros: This Embassy Suites is conveniently close to the Detroit Airport (DTW) The staff is nice Cons: The rooms and exterior are in need of remodeling. The parking lot did not feel safe at all. The backside at night would not make one feel easy. The sides of the building lots were also unsettling.

It was the greatest hotel ever the pool was amazing and the hot tub was amazing too. I would recommend this hotel and i saw Joe Biden. Also the tigers baseball game was amazing, the pullout bed was comfortable. And no stains on the pullout bed sheet, definitely come to this hotel.

We stayed here on the first night of our Michigan vacation. Comfortable 2-room suite, and pretty quiet for being near the airport. We also enjoyed their restaurant. For dinner, we had made-to-order turkey burgers and shared side of sweet potato fries with maple syrup mayo (sounds a little odd, but it was very tasty). Several area craft beers were available in cans. And it was only about a 30-minute drive to the downtown museums, which we visited the next day.
