Days Inn by Wyndham Grayling

Even though I rated this 3 stars, it's one of the best choices for a place to stay in Grayling. Bed was comfortable, pillows with adequate support and towels were nice, but still below a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. The quality of oatmeal, bagels and cereal in the morning was good. Didn't like the water saving faucets in the sinks, can understand it for the shower, but when I am trying to fill a water bottle, rinse my toothbrush or shave, it's a lot of wasted time!

We stayed in the king suite which was on the first floor. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large and had a jetted tub. There was a separate area off the bathroom with a refrigerator with a small freezer. The sitting area was very large. The bed was amazing and very comfortable. The cons: the couch has to go, it was so uncomfortable. If you lift the cushion, which we did by accident, there was some sort of item left behind. We didn't touch it. There was a reclining chair which I was thrilled about until I sat in it. That chair was very unstable and should also be tossed. The breakfast was nothing more than coffee, tea and toast. The yogurt was gone. There was some type of cereal and make your own waffles. We stayed two nights. The second day we opted to eat out. The worst part of this experience was that on the first night, above us someone was doing exercises or pacing their floor with heavy boots on for 40 minutes at around 11:30. pm It happened again the second night and then again in the morning at 5:00 a.m. For what we paid, we should have had a better experience.

The room smelled bad and the TV didn’t work. It was small and badly placed. The guy at the desk was very nice and did his best. But the conditions prevented me from getting a good nights rest. He got the tv working and offered us another room but by then my husband was in bed and didn’t want to move

Clean!!! Nothing better than a clean room! Assortment of pillows to pick perfect one, bed comfy, and staff very polite. Breakfast filling and enjoyable Will be telling family and friends. Perfect area to make for base camp for next summer vacation.

Didn't see any of the issues to justify the negative comments. Exactly what's expected from this Wyndham offering.
