Weathervane Terrace Inn and Suites

We stayed in a jacuzzi room and could not have been happier with it. The hotel is older, but everything was clean and well cared for. our room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Customer service was excellent. Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to check in until 8:30 pm. When we arrived, they had our paperwork and keys ready so we were in and out of the office in 5 minutes. Great people, very nice hotel and we look forward to going back. I would highly recommend!

Have to agree, the staff is great. The rest. Horrible. Don’t let them fool you, the “2 person Jacuzzi” is NOT for two people. It’s a joke unless you want to squeeze two small adults in there and one is forced to sit on the spigot! Very dated, ceiling tiles stained and broken. No where to hang towels. Patio door broken. Old furniture.

This hotel has a great location. It is within walking distance to the downtown and a Lake Michigan beach. The hotel itself is very disappointing. The pool is closed for the rest of the season ☹️. We had a Lake Michigan view room. It was a very dark and depressing room with old furniture. The whole hotel needs a deep cleaning. At breakfast even though there was a worker present every vacant table was dirty. The view from the breakfast room would have been nice had the windows not been so dirty.

The location is great! The room is dated but clean. The issue was the loud air conditioner that we couldn’t get control of. So lousy night sleep. Since I have to write 200 words I was just prompted…the breakfast was good. Restaurant next door was fantastic.

This is the closest hotel to the beach though there are stairs. Not to worry as they also have a pool. The rooms with balconies on the north side have a view of Lake Michigan. Comfortable furniture and bed, nice kitchen. The free breakfast is bare bones though, just oatmeal, pastry and fruit. I suggest they add some protein like boiled eggs or yogurt.
