We are located within just minutes of the DTW Detroit Metro Airport and YIP Willow Run Airport, The University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University. Other nearby destinations include the Michigan International Speedway, Canton Sports Center Complex and the Henry Ford Museum. Expansive banquet and meeting space available. 3,800 square foot of space, we hold small or large meetings, birthday parties, weddings and company parties. I made my reservation on 06/09/22 b/c websites said this hotel was "pet friendly", not "No cats, birds, or snakes allowed". On 06/10/22 my 14 yr old, cat, and I drove 4 hrs from Cincinnati, OH. We were tired, I walk in and the front desk employee and manager both refused to let us stay because they said it was policy. I asked them where the policy was in writing, and they couldn't provide anything. The manager was so unprofessional and rude to me in front of my child, she had to compassion or even apologized for the inconvenience. I asked her to call their corporate office and she said the phone was only for "incoming calls". A disappointing example of humanity. I drove a few feet to the hotel NEXT DOOR, and what do ya know, they accepted cats! I used to book Holiday Inn Express many times because they were good for families, properties and prices are decent. I'd rather sleep in a tent than stay there.
