We stayed at the resort after a family wedding. The room was extremely dated. Peeling paint on the walls and windows. Windows were very dirty. Bed mattress and pillows were hard. Prices are extremely high and it doesn't even include breakfast.

It's our favorite place to ski. The views are great and skiing also. Lots of blues and greens. Buildings are very historic and inside of rooms is slightly dated but are clean and comfy. Lift lines are shorter than comparable resorts and also prices are lower.

They have THE rudest staff at the front desk. I have never been talked to so rudely like this at any resort or hotel. Incredibly poor management and the website has inaccurate information. And, I spoke to the front desk/housekeeping manager. Be careful when booking around the holidays! It happened the first year we went. The staff were so rude and talked down to me because I booked from a third party site. They lied and said they called me twice (never called), and acted like they were doing me a favor by finding this really rotten loft room that didn’t have working heat. My kids liked to ski there so we gave it another try the next year. OMG, it was worse. Incredibly rude again. I’m not sure how this place stays in business when they treat customers so horribly.

Very cute lodge. Unfortunately, there was no snow, when we were there. Obviously that is not their fault. But all the rates were holiday pricing, no discounts. Expect to pay between $87-$112 for a teenager's ski lift ticket. Before you drive up check the snow report. They only had lifts 1, 2 and 4 open and it was like a snow cone. If you live in Minnesota or Wisconsin, it is not worth the drive.

Customer service is horrible - Tracy did not call us back about stay and play packages until after we were checked in and then would not offer any information and was actually a little put off that I even asked to the point I found her rude - the front desk has zero information in which Tracy replied "then they are doing their job" - the Grill is overpriced for the quality of the food - The resort is falling apart - needs to be updated - peeling paint on the buildings makes it look even more rundown - don't think about going swimming - the pool was filthy - the only good thing I can say is the maintenance crew were very helpful and were on top of any issues we had (the phone nor the fridge worked in our room and had to be switched out) - will not be back
