AC Hotel by Marriott Worcester

no concerns. decent location. just couple miles from the hospitals. clean rooms w comfortable beds. easy wi-fi. we didn't park or go to the bar or gym. we had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was fine. note uber and lyft pick you up on the side st (front st).

Definitely the nicest hotel in town. Room was perfect. Bed was so comfortable, room was nice and new, shower was amazing. No complaints whatsoever with the quality of the room and the nightly rate. I loved the delicious coffee they had in the lobby 24/7 and the service (as with all Marriott’s) was fantastic. I only knocked a star off because the parking was $20 per night which seemed a bit pricey and the entire hotel (including my room) reeked of pot. I don’t mind that smell but it was a bit much.

At the front entrance to this hotel on the main street is a large physical barrier in front of the doors. It directs folks to "hotel parking." The garage is right around the corner and underground. If the garage is full, as it was when we arrived, then you probably will park your car a very long way away from the elevator and then haul your bags across the garage to the elevator and up one flight to the lobby. The front desk agent who was very sweet, and courteous, does not know why arriving guests with luggage have to enter the hotel in this stupefyingly unhelpful way, so may I just say that it is hard to conceive of a more inconvenient, less welcoming to t a hotel. I am going to tell you that I am Titanium/ Lifetime platinum ONLY to show that I stay with Marriott a lot; and that have never seen such an absurdly unhelpful way of welcoming arriving guests. TBH I'd be laughing as I write this were it not for the fact that tomorrow I will have to haul two big bags down the elevator and across the garage to get to my car to escape.

Weeknight stay, it was a streetside room but quiet even at 8am. Nice darkening blinds. Comfortable bed but room was a little tight. The lamps aren't really sufficient lighting, bathroom was also a bit dim. Only one coffee pod of each type and housekeeping banging on door at 9 despite the do not disturb sign.

Very comfortable rooms with good bedding, nice bath, sofa,desk, good electrical & computer outlets. Very clean, generally quiet, well located. Validated parking in building. My colleague hadn’t been there in over a year and the greeted him by name. I will return.
