The Godfrey Hotel Boston

I had the pleasure of staying here during the Boston Marathon, and it exceeded every expectation. The hotel is just a short walk the finish line. The staff went above and beyond at every turn. From the warm welcome at check-in to thoughtful race-day amenities (including early breakfast and complimentary recovery snacks and showers!!), it was clear the hotel understands and supports the marathon community. The beds are beyond good!

We stayed only one night, 4/27 to 4/28/25.....nice hotel, friendly and efficient staff, especially our Bell Hop named Arbon, a nice young fellow from Albania. The Valet Parking staff were great too, parking was $60/day.......we stayed in a dog friendly room, clean and comfy, it did not have a mini fridge or microwave, but there was a free ice machine just down the hall. The hotel location is convenient to the Boston Commons park, where you can start you tour of the sights, either self guided, or with a tour guide. We would certainly consider the Godfrey on future visits.

My name is Takahashi, and I stayed for 5 nights starting from April 19. I chose this hotel because it is close to the marathon venue. The hotel staff were all kind, and when I checked in, they confirmed I was a runner and encouraged me, which made me very happy. On the morning of the race, special breakfast was provided, allowing me to recharge my energy. After finishing the race and returning to the hotel, I was welcomed back with applause, which deeply moved me. I also received a special commemorative gift from the hotel, which became a wonderful memory. There were many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making the location very convenient. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I had an enjoyable trip to Boston and the hotel staff at the Godfrey were exceptional. Everyone was just nice and kind. The hotel is in a great location but it truly was the staff that made our stay enjoyable including Rose who came to clean our room. It was our first trip to Boston and we met so many nice people in Boston. Loved our trip.

What an Amazing hotel, the service is just outstanding. Arbon helped us with our bags and we had stayed at the Godfrey a few weeks prior and Arbon remembered us and brought a bottle of wine and chocolates to our room. This is such a hidden GEM of a hotel, the location is the GREATEST. Close to Boston Commons, Quincy Market, close walk to City Winery (Concert venue). The entire staff is so professional, the Doormen (ARBON, Brendan) the Valet guys, the bartender (what hotel gives FREE drink tickets) the staff when you check in. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Can't wait to make another reservation in a month or so.
