The noise level from the street was terrible - you can hear every vehicle going by. In addition, the blower for the heating/cooling system was so loud that it vibrated the beds. To top it off we saw a rat coming out of the kitchen area. We were supposed to stay two nights - left after one night.

I should have known there was going to be trouble. The note on the desk said (and I quote): to maintain residential-like ambient temperatures in your guest room, we've programmed our HVAC system to remain off, and then possibly turn on the heat in the evenings as outside temperatures reduce. We ask that guests leave the HVAC system set to "off." Your wall controller will only serve to fan mode in the room." I WAS FREEZING. At 11:30 I called the front desk and they brought up a flimsy space heater that barely warmed the foot of the bed. There were no extra blankets in the room. But then the story gets even better. In the morning, as I checked out the front desk woman inquired about my stay. I told her it was miserable. She then proceeded to smile and repeat a canned message: "we are here 24/7 to assure your comfort." I said I was not comfortable at all, did she understand that? She repeated her mantra and then challenged me "why did you not call for a blanket, after you got the heater?" It was Fellini-esque. She kept feeding me her pre-recorded message until I just shrugged and left. The worst hotel stay EVER.

We stayed here one night, while meeting up with some friends for a birthday dinner. We really appreciated the front-desk staff Dez arranging for an early check-in; which was very helpful for our visit. All the staff, we encountered were friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable, and provided a pleasant stay. All and all, this location is a solid option if one is staying in the area.

Great stay, close to Harvard's campus and very convenient to get to. Modern design, didn't get a chance to try the food, but everything looked very nice. Would come back again if I had to stay at a hotel in the area again, and convenient with a bus stop right nearby
