Great location, lovely staff, great concierge. Only gripes would be the room lighting (might be just an age thing but I hate dark rooms) and the FHR breakfast benefit which is a measly $30. That effectively meant the $100 dining credit was spent subsidising breakfast, which is a bit poor. No FHR room upgrade either but it was a busy weekend. In Europe where one doesn’t get an upgrade there is usually an additional credit etc but that never seems to happen in the US.

Very welcoming luxury hotel, and all staff are looking to go to the extra mile to make sure you have everything that you need and want. Fantastic location, close to popular bars and restaurants. Rooms are spectacular and each room has your own private fireplace. We took advantage of the car service to drop us off in the North End for dinner. This hotel is beautiful and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

You must stay at this hotel. I can't recommend it highly enough. Aside from the luxurious rooms, comfortable beds/pillows, complimentary bath salts, and friendly staff... I have never felt more taken care of. I got really sick on the second half of my trip, and the way the team at XV Beacon rallied around me to make sure I was okay was nothing short of amazing. The house car took me where I needed to go, the front desk kept checking in on me, and they even gave me a free pot of tea to help me get better. I couldn't ask for anything more, and I know if I stayed somewhere else, I would've felt much more alone. Thank you to everyone at this beautiful hotel for making me as comfortable as possible. I won't even consider staying anywhere else in Boston now, this is my place.

A lovely modern hotel, centrally located in the historic Beacon Hill neighborhood, XV Beacon is a perfect place to stay while visiting Boston. The birthplace of the American Revolution, Boston is brimming with history—and the cobble-stone streets of the Beacon Hill neighborhood. Walking distance to numerous historical landmarks and museums, XV Beacon is right next to the Boston Commons and the Massachusetts statehouse and across the street from the Boston Atheneum. It’s also just down the street from the favorite as-seen-on-TV bar—Cheers! The rooms at XV Boston include elegant furnishings with dark wood accents that give the accommodations the stately feel of a guest room at an old Beacon Hill mansion. Each room includes a fireplace that adds to the ambience and warmth. One amenity that we particularly enjoyed was the selection of bath salts offered for a relaxing bathtub soak. The XV Beacon is distinguished by its exceptionally polite and helpful staff. We were greeted by friendly doormen and bellmen and assisted by the efficient front desk staff. The superstar concierge team led by David introduced us to the best nightlife spots in the South End, helped us find stores in the Back Bay for our shopping needs, and guided us to secret underground speakeasies. A standout for the hotel is the private driver service—Mark quickly and safely navigated the streets of Boston through rain and traffic to get us to everywhere we needed to go. The hotel is above a popular steakhouse Mooo
. where you can enjoy a wonderful dinner or a drink at the bar. There are plenty of restaurants and small shops within walking distance from XV Beacon that you can also enjoy. We highly recommend a stay at this gorgeous hotel and a visit to lovely Boston!

This is among the nicest hotels I've stayed in in the United States. Everything worked: the location is ideal and an easy walk to downtown and the public gardens; it is right in lovely Beacon Hill with its various shops and restaurants; it has a fine restaurant on site; and, most important, a friendly, professional, and courteous staff. I was upgraded to a studio, which was an unexpected surprise. Lovely, large space with a fireplace, comfortable king bed, and warm colors of brown and beige that I found soothing. Evening turn down service. Everything was tastefully decorated and spotless. Room service breakfast arrived on schedule. One of the nicest surprises was the complimentary car service that took me to South Station on the morning of my departure. Very friendly driver. XV Beacon Hotel is definitely a keeper.
