Hotel Description
A location within walking distance of downtown Amherst and local universities and free Wi-Fi make the non-smoking University Lodge a hub of convenience for our guests. The two-story, non-smoking University Lodge offers 20 rooms with coffeemakers, cable TVs, microwaves and mini-fridges. Take advantage of complimentary Wi-Fi to check your email or research local activities. The hotel offers free morning coffee to help you wake up. Fax and copy services are available on-site, and there is a computer with a printer for guests` use. Pets are welcome for a fee with advance notice. NOTE: The office is open from 8AM to 9PM daily with a 24-hour answering service. Those arriving after 9PM should check in at Howard Johnson, 401 Russell Street, Route 9, in Hadley, MA. The University Lodge rate will be honored, based upon availability, at Howard Johnson for those arriving after 9PM. The University Lodge is located two blocks from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and eight blocks from Amherst College. There are a variety of restaurants within a half-mile of the hotel. Golfers are approximately five minutes from Amherst Golf Club and Cherry Hill Golf Course. Mt. Holyoke and Smith Colleges are 20 minutes away. The Amherst Amtrak station is less than one miles from the property, and Westover Metropolitan Airport is 17 miles away. It`s 43 miles to Bradley International Airport.
