Days Inn by Wyndham Westminster

Smoke smell really strong in room, very dirty. Hated every aspect of this hotel. I had to ask for a broom to clean under the bed because I didn't want my dog going under and eating the crap from under it. The front desk never offered to have housekeeping to come and clean it. Just an awful experience.

Traveled with a pet and reserved a King bed room. Nice room, mostly clean with exception of some dust on a shelf near the door. Room dated with slight damage on the walls, floor and tub/shower. Safety issue with a ground floor outside acces door that was broken and not secured; this was reported to staff. Light breakfast was limited with cereals, waffles, juice, bananas. Staff were very nice and overall a pleasant stay for a reasonable price with an additional $15 pet fee.

It was an available place to stay. However, the decor was an eyesore, with dirty towels and trash outside room doors, a broken elevator, and a poorly secure rear exit door. The room service was inconsistent. Turndown service is non-existent here. The most you will get is replaced towels and trash bags. The front desk staff seemed suspiciously unprepared to handle concerns when inquiring about being double charged.

If you need a business room as they advertise, do not stay here they have no business center. Will claim the public computer in the little corner is the business center. A joke The apple juice machine is out of order, the juice was just sitting out in room temperature and when I took a drink was rottenness. Very very basic breakfast nothing worth getting up early to go for. Elevator takes you to all floors before taking you where you need to be. That’s a joke as well. The older gentleman at front desk is the only good thing there making a professional look for them. The general manager himself knows he does not have a business center. Don’t waste your points there you won’t get them back . And again NO Business center. So disappointed!!

Do not go by the pictures posted from this hotel. The hotel is worn out and disgusting. There are too many people who "live" there permanently for whatever their reason. The breakfast room is filthy, sticky and worn. The breakfast room shown in the hotels website looks nice; do not, I repeat do not book this hotel based on the pictures. After speaking to the manager who was full of various excuses and apologize I had to ensure to get the word out to the public. It is falsely advertised based on the photographs and is not by any means worthy of carrying a hotel chain brand. Oh and it is in the process of being remodeled so they say. I say come clean with what you actually have. Maryland board of tourism should investigate what is going on at this hotel.
