Aloft Ocean City

The whole experience was Good, OK, but kind of strange. First of all I booked at SeaLoft and it wasn’t ready. A. notified me two days before my stay that they were moving me to Aloft with my approval. I was OK with that because the location fit my needs. But the whole experience was unlike all my others staying at the beach that time of year. Hotel - The room was very sparsely decorated . A few things didn’t work right. Had a beautiful Bay view as expected. Bed was comfy. Services are all based on contacting the front desk and that works.

Great place to stay, can’t wait to come again!! I really enjoyed the food and staff. Going to come more in Off season it so catered to you then. No beating the crowd. The bar was great with much to choose from. We got very good food while we were their that we enjoyed very much!

Friendliest staff all the way around! Great rooms and ESPECIALLY the BEDS! Comfortable! It was better than getting a room on the ocean side and not being able to sleep on the beds! Nice bar and bar food! Won’t be long before I am back again! Thank you for a great stay!

I stayed here for just one night but enjoyed the property, even though it was a short stay. The rooms are organized a bit oddly, but it worked for me for this trip. The square footage of the room would have been a bit small for a lengthy stay. The shower water pressure was good but the shower was oddly shaped in that you had to stand sideways to bring your arms to your head. Another odd thing about the room was there was a microwave by the elevators for communal use, but the rooms did have a little fridge. The pillows and bed were comfortable, and the balcony was fine but not a big draw if you are on a low floor. The hotel sits bayside and has a small pool with loungers and there is a bar in the lobby. The sunset at the pool area was gorgeous. In terms of location, I liked the area the hotel was in as it was convenient to Fenwick Island Delaware restaurants and just a little removed from the main Ocean City drag. Perhaps my all-time favorite thing about this hotel, $0 Pet Fee! My least favorite thing about this hotel was the breakfast, definitely ship the breakfast included rate and go elsewhere.

Some of the things in this hotel are unusual. Stayed here for a conference during the off-season. The rooms themselves are odd. No microwave in the room but they have one on every floor in the hallway, no trash can in the room but a giant black trash bag to use just laying on the floor I guess for the week, a tiny different looking fridge and no freezer compartment, and an unusual bathroom set up with no shower curtain and no shelves at all for toiletries. Not to mention the very thin walls and all you hear are banging doors and barking dogs at night (bc it's a dog friendly hotel) the room smelled weird maybe because of pets, and the rug and furniture seemed grungy. Plus no complimentary breakfast and a hotel lobby and bar in the same tiny space. The entire hotel was dark and dim lit, in the hallway and lobby. Weird color schemes and trying to be trendy decor but was anything but that. The stay alone was fine, but wouldn't be a place I'd volunteer to stay again. At least put microwaves in every room and a trash can. Why??
